Professionalism, Quality, Value…read more I didn't want to write this review because I've known Robbie, Clearview auto glass owner, for 20+ years and he's always done my windshield work, but when he opened a garage I decided to take my van to him because it was making a small noise and I thought maybe it was the timing belt because I had not changed it in a long time. So, he took it in and said he thought it was the timing belt to making the noise and he would change it. My wife had just driven the van to the Outer Banks and I just came back on the same day and had gone to Richmond and then went and dropped her van off there at his shop where I met her. They told me the next day they had change the belt and it was ready to pick up but it was running a little rough and that I might get 10,000 more miles out of it and maybe no more miles out of it. I went to pick it up not knowing what he was talking about because we had never had any problems with it just thinking that it might be making more noise is why he said that. I couldn't even drive it off the lot. It would not even run so since it was after hours. I left it there. I called him back the next day and told him that and he said yeah when you put the new belt on it tightened up everything and that's why it wouldn't run and I said I think you have the belt on wrong because it was driving fine on way there and now we can't even drive it. He said he sorry he did it didn't come out the way I wanted it to but they put a new valve belt on there it just tightened everything up and that made the valves run funny. I had it towed to another old man that has been in business for probably about 60 years, he put his machine on it because he said it sounds like the belt is not on right. And he put his machine on it and immediately it said that the belt was on the wrong that it was a couple of teeth off in the back and one tooth off in the front. By them driving it even from the garage door out to the parking lot, they destroyed the motor because by for when the belt is on wrong it messes up the valve and destroyed the motor. ****Every mechanic that we called said oh they definitely put the belt on wrong and that if you don't put that belt on right that you will destroy the motor. I called him and told him all of that and he said his mechanic said it was on right and I'm sorry it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to l. He did not offer me any money back that I spent for him to fix it with which was $540. Money thrown down the drain. So, now we had to put another motor in it because there was nothing wrong with the van it was ran it perfectly in perfect condition never had a minute trouble with it just a little noise it was making. Now we had to put a new motor in it, he wouldn't even discuss giving my money back or anything, so... I just want people to know don't take your vehicle there because they don't know what they're doing. They might be able to put in a window but they don't know how to work on a vehicle so I wouldn't take my vehicle to them because it that's all he would do for a friend, imagine what he would do for someone he doesn't know. We will be going to Yelp and news channels and report this unfair situation also.

I did buy a belt from them but it turns out that the belt was the wrong size for the vehicle I was working on. Went to take it back and they did not take it back because it was missing the sleeve which was torn and put in the trash. I've learned the sleeve lesson but I've also learned I won't be shopping here again.
