Ordering is easy from a touch screen. I ordered an omelet sandwich. Simple and basic. The service is ok. Just ok. There weren't more than a couple of people ahead of me waiting for their food. The staff were not making any attempt at conversation, not even a hello and thank you when handing you your food. A smile and thank you goes a long way. At least with me it does. Paying was quick and painless. The cashier at least smiled, said hello and thank you. The food was what one would expect from Wawa. Filling, yes. Ok tasting, yes. Something you would make an effort to go back for another time, no. But, it did the job, getting me home without having to stop on the road again.

I ended up in the ER with diarrhea, severe vomiting and uterine cramping. I couldn't keep food down for two days and lost my appetite for four more days after that. The way Wawa handled this was appalling: Destruction of Evidence: I told Catherine C (Customer Relations) I planned to contact a lawyer that I know who could have the food tested for further contamination. She insisted I return it to the store for 'internal testing.' I complied. The store manager, Nambia at the time offered me $6.99 to resolve the issue. I later found out that Wawa's Corporate team contacted the store and instructed them to discard the salad. Dismissive Corporate Response: Michelle Chapman (Michelle.chapman@helmsmantpa.com) has been completely dismissive of my trauma. She passed the blame to their supplier, Taylor Farms and did not provide any further resolution beyond $6.99. Wawa tricked me into giving back the evidence, destroyed it, and now refuses to take accountability. Take caution if you eat at this Wawa. Side note: I have been going to wawa faithfully since I was a child...sometimes 10+ times a month, which my wawa app will reflect. The way the store manager and corporate handled this is disappointing to say the least.

I didn't notice of course until after I was out of the parking lot and parked my car. A magnet on my car also came off so when I went back to the location just to simply ask if maybe someone picked it up so I could obtain it I basically got greeted with the attendant telling me it's not his problem. But yet it was my problem that they couldn't wash the front of my car. Accidents mistakes happen but the customer service is trash. This used to be my favorite car wash I will never go there again. Save your money and go to the express on route 40.
