I walked to the bathroom and it said to ask an employee for a key. So I waddled to the counter and I said "I need the bathroom key I'm dying man" in a sarcastic tone and the skinny male employee with a ratty ponytail ignored me. So I said again "please I've tried 3 gas stations and I'm running out of time" He lied and told me it was not working and to get stuffed. So I cussed him out and began waddle-running to the harmons up the street. My ride parked and went in to get some cigarettes and look for me. Not due to lack of trying with a full time security fairs when you walk in. But there are homeless and drug deals going on right off the property. Homeless tents and carts spread across the streets. With that said, I love that Maverik has cornered the gas station market. We use their Nitro debit card that gets you an automatic 6 cents off per gallon and reduces an XL foam cup drinks to .99 cents. I am proud to say when I get the kids without mom for an errand, I always stop at a Maverik and direct the kids to grab one item of their liking. Usually a Chiller (slurpee type drink) or a candy or a soda. We can get out for less than $7 per stop and I feel like the greatest dad in the planet. Thx Maverik!! Their slogan is "adventures first stop" which I agree with however they are also our last stop. We hit it on the way out of town and top off on our way back home. I also enjoy a quick stop for a F'Real shake. Reese's is my favorite. The kids love the s'mores and Oreo flavors. For $3.19 it's easier to grab than the $5-$7 dollar shakes places are charging these days. I am so grateful they seem to have a location at every exit along I-15.

I stopped here everyday as I was staying at Tru hotel down the street. Prices are reasonable compare to most gas stations. Gas prices are a little high compare to a Walmart that's a 13 minute drive but on July 2nd I didn't feel like going all the way to Walmart to save $0.25 cents so I figured I would stop here and pick up some drinks for my drive back to Vegas the next day. The pumps are a little slow which makes me believe the underground filters for the pumps are dirty....the owner should have the employees check on that. Overall, this is a great place if you are returning a rental car and need to fill up before you return your car or just staying at one of the 18 hotels nearby. I highly recommend these folks (The only thing i don't like is the lowest grade Salt Lake City has is 85 octane compare to Vegas which is 87 octane.)
