The office staffs very unfriendly and unprofessional I am not suppose to paid for my eyes exam because I do have vision also medical coverage but they never bother to pull up my file and check on it somehow they told me I only have vision and that why I have to paid for service( cash only )and when Doctor given prescription they have it did wrong too strong I can not wear have to remade have to wait another 10 days did not hear from them called them they told me did not know what happened let them call and will let me know and I just go ahead looking another provider which is I have found the best Doctor in town who treated me with respectful and listened when I am talking too bad can not find good Doctor with good caring heart anymore these days VERY DISAPPOINTED read more

my husband and I have been going here for over 12 years. the quality if the Doctors and staff if excellent. De Morgan caught a disease in my husband's eye that was rare and could have left him blind. even though Dr. Morgan has retired, the rest of the doctors are equally qualified. read more

They scratched my prescription glasses & the only offer was I could by a new pair of glasses with a discount. I shouldn't have to pay anything if they admit they scratched the lens. I also don't get what a 3.5% customer service fee is. I thought customer service was free??? Do not go to the Cattleman road office. read more

I saw the optician, Ed, and he has been very kind and accomodating. I had to send back a pair of glasses because I didn't like the fit of the frame after the glasses were made and he was willing to let me do that, at their cost, I believe. He has been extremely nice and helpful. I also appreciate that this office is very careful about keeping everyone safe from Covid, and unlike some others who posted complaints about that here, I for one, am very grateful that they are strict about masks. These people who complain about rules to protect public health can go elsewhere, and I'm happy if they do. read more

Worn Glasses for 60 Years & This Was The Best Office I've Visited Warm, friendly staff; seen on time; no-rush, very thorough eye exam; Dr. Morgan was also thorough, patient, happy to answer questions, and was very knowledgeable. The icing on the cake was picking frames: instead of leaving me alone and saying, "Look around and pick out what you like," the staff offered suggestions and explanations (my face shape and width, the "look" a frame conveyed, etc.) I even got group input on what frame to pick. Our family has been coming here for years to see Dr Worker, who has recently retired. Went in today for an eye exam and was asked in front of a room full of waiting people whether or not I had taken the COVID vaccine. First of all, I don't think that's anyone's business, least of all a room full of strangers. When I said that I didn't take the shot I was told to put on a mask. I turned and walked out and our family will be looking for a new eye doctor. read more

So disappointing!! I looked for a place that has good reviews which Eye Center South did have but This place is so unorganized and live in such FEAR!! The discrimination that i received from this place is so sad and uncalled for! ! I made an appt and on my first call i stated that I HAVE A MEDICAL EXCEPTION! I can not wear a mask! I pass out and i get short of breath and i want to confirm that i am able to come in your office AND i was told that she would note my chart and that all will be okay. So my schedule was changed at work so i had to call and change my appt. Before hanging up i went over again about my Health Issue and that i was coming over my lunch and want to make sure i will not have a problem. Well my appt never happened!!! when i arrived i was jumped on as soon as i entered DO YOU HAVE A MASK????? i stated that i have an appt and i thought that this was all taken care of but of course it was not!! i was the only one in there and the DOC would not see me!!! I chose this office because I'm new to Sarasota and Dr. Morgan was recommended. Had to wait 7 weeks for an opening, but decided it wasn't an emergency, so made the appointment. One month before my scheduled appointment, I was told that Dr. Morgan would be out of town and they requested that I reschedule at a later date with his associate. I agreed. I just received another call from this office to reschedule my appointment again at an even later date because the associate wouldn't be there on my rescheduled day! They offered to reschedule me again for an appointment 3 weeks later, but I declined. Just wasted almost 3 months on this office. read more

I have to say that Ed Midler who is the optician here and Dr Werker are very special people. I had a problem with my eye and posted on Facebook for a referral to a good eye dr. Ed saw my post and immediately sent me a message and asked what was wrong. When I told him he said I needed to get it looked at as it could be a detached retina and if you do not treat it within 24 hours there is a much bigger risk of losing your eyesight. Very scary. He called Dr Werker and I saw her first thing in am. She checked it and immediately got me in to see a Retinal Specialist the same day. Needless to say Dr Werker is now my Eye Doctor. read more

Dr. Morgan was referred to us by our Eye Doctor in Niagara Falls, Canada. Called their office first thing in the morning to explain the problem, and the friendly and efficient staff arranged one for that afternoon, made sure we had the correct directions and was advised of the payment schedule. Dr. Morgan was very profession, efficient and friendly. Explained each procedure to us, answered all our questions, gave us some samples to try, but best, left us with his personal number, in case we had a problem, we could reach him right away. Not too sure many Doctors would do that!!! Highly recommend Dr. Morgan for any Eye Problems. And even though we did not need glasses, they have a very nice selection, if you are interested in purchasing a new pair. read more

Eddie Midler managed to fit my daughter with the perfect glasses for her, despite many challenges. She has down syndrome and autism, she struggles in unfamiliar territory and doesn't usually respond well to new people. Eddie's vast product knowledge and experience combined with a ton of patience made it a positive experience. I'll never take her to anyone else. Over the years, All Children's Hospital & affiliates have always been my go to. Not any more. Eddie's better. read more
