First off, Cerissa was extremely helpful assisting me in scheduling my appointment with her. The online booking process was so simple and she is so communicative. Her eyebrow studio is chic, clean, and so adorable! I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Cerissa helped me decide which treatment made the most sense for my eyebrows (we went with the ombré powder and I'm sooo glad I did!) She is true perfectionist when drawing out the brows! She is precise while measuring them and ensuring they are symmetrical on both sides. She is also an expert in knowing what flatters your face shape best. Cerissa re-shaped the outline of my brows a number of times until we both agreed they were absolutely perfect! The microblading process itself was relatively quick and painless. She numbs the areas and frequently asks about your pain level, and if she should apply more numbing cream or not. All around, Cerissa was a joy to work with! Cerissa is amazing!! I am so happy with my new eye brows and really just how professional, sweet and accommodating she was throughout the whole process. She really has great people skills and communication which made it very pleasant to talk to her on the phone. She's time efficient and sends you everything you need to know as far as how to book and any other info right away, her response time was so quick on text msgs too. My babysitter canceled on me last minute and I asked Cerissa if I could bring my 8yr old son with me and she didn't hesitate to say yes, in fact she engaged him in conversation the whole time we were there and he was so excited to tell her about all of his favorite Disney movies. She really knows how to make her clients feel welcomed. Her salon is also so beautiful, clean and organized and she follows COVID protocol very well by having clients sanitize their hands, phones, etc as they are coming in as well as checking temperatures which I really appreciated because it ensures the safety of the clients. While there she took her time to measure, was very friendly and social, made us laugh a lot and continuously made sure that I was happy with the shape, length and everything before starting the shading process. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had scheduled my appointment with Cerissa Phillips for May 28 and total cost was $449. I was super excited to say the least. She told me I needed to put down a $100 deposit that would go towards the cost on my appointment date. Mind you, no where on the website says you need to make a deposit. I found a Groupon for $275 for the one session and $299 for the first session and second session 4-6 weeks later. I texted Cerissa informing her I bought the groupon. She said I cannot use the deposit with the groupon and to cancel my groupon. Um hello? Why would I cancel my groupon when its actually SAVING me money? She then went on to say that deposits are non refundable. Okay, where on your website does it say that deposits are non-refundable??? NO WHERE!! She told me to read the email that was sent upon booking. Okay, what is that going to do? The email was sent AFTER I paid the deposit. Which she never mentioned ONCE while texting me that there would be NO REFUND OF THE DEPOSIT. Instead of being a professional and WORKING with the customer to KEEP the sale she says "Lets make this easy on both of us love. I will refund your deposit and cancel your appointment. Have a good night." HA!!! Okay, I don't want anyone touching my face with this bitch ass attitude. I told her multiple times that I wasn't trying to be difficult NOR CANCEL my appointment. She cannot make rules or regulations without HAVING IT IN WRITING! Any professional business owner KNOWS THIS. My appointment was for May 28! A month away! This makes me think how many other people she has scammed with wanting to cancel and she kept their $100 deposit. Not a professional business owner or stylist, whatever she is, at all for this. read more

Carissa is amazing on all levels. She really takes her time to make sure you are happy and everything is PERFECT. It's your face and she treats it like it is. I really took my time with researching this and she was the best and the most professional by far. I hope I'm not miss quoting her but I think she went to 3 schools because she wanted to know anything and everything to know about microblading. I was so happy with the result and I have not even had my second appointment. I could go on and on. I talked to many people that were more expensive and they did not know what they were doing compared to her. On top of that she was gentle and I could almost fall asleep. I came to Cerissa hoping she could help me "finish" what had been started by the girl who I couldn't get to commit to my second appointment. From the start over the phone she explained that although she could start new, she couldn't "fix" what had been previously done. I sighed & bit the bullet making an appointment. Something about her manner over the phone just made me feel it was the best way to go. It was definitely one of the best thing I have done. The office, (although that word doesn't feel quite right) has a wonderful ambience. The silver accented decor including mirrors, pillows & accents felt more like being in someone's fun bedroom then a place to have a procedure done. From the beginning Cerissa was friendly, knowledgeable, patient & a stickler for sterility (which I liked). When I slightly freaked out after my first appointment due to a comment my husband made she patiently emailed me back several times answering all my questions and offering reassurance everything was on track the way it was supposed to be. My eyebrows definitely were a challenge- different shapes & angles from years of plucking & given my age (over 50) I was wondering if this was more of a "youthful" thing that women my age should avoid. But I LOVE the new shape of my brows & it definitely has added to my confidence. If I could give her more then five stars I would.
