These kind of reviews are really hard to write, especially when you've been researching and you believe you've found the best of the best. You land on somebody that you think rises above the rest, only to be shuffled to someone else in their salon. So you'll never know nor get what you put in for. When I decided to book PMU with Mila, I was told that Mila, the salon owner, had no appointments for 3 1/2 months, well ok, because really good aestheticians should be busy. I was immediately pushed off to another aesthetician in the salon, Anastasia, saying that she was hired right away because she was that good, etc., etc. But she is not! My first appointment, as with everyone else's, they draw out your brow line for PMU and ask you to approve it. I told Anastasia that she literally lowered my brow arch by a third. Her answer was, "don't worry about it you'll have enough arch left." And just proceeded. Well, I didn't! And I was not happy. Here's where it gets really interesting, I reached out to Mila right after, after she asked me to give her a positive review on Google and Yelp, telling her that I can't do that because I wasn't happy. She rest assured me that she would make it right and laser could fix the PMU that affected my arch. And that she would personally make it right. That never happened, and here's why. I had my follow-up/touch-up appointment with Mila on a Saturday and I was really early so I was sitting in the parking lot having my lunch an hour or more before my appointment when I was contacted by her husband, their receptionist, telling me that she left so sick and had to cancel my appointment and they didn't know when they could rebook me because they didn't know how many days that she would be out. I never saw her leave. Little does she care either, that she posted herself working out in the gym at 6 o'clock the next morning on her social media I mean, come on?! It's not just my opinion, but she left the day of my appointment and canceled my appointment so she could do something before she left for a 15 day vacation in Mexico. Let's fast forward to trying to get rebooked with Mila. I sent a text to their main phone number, which is her cell, and was again told that they didn't know when I could reschedule with Mila so they put me back with Anastasia. Ugh!! Anastasia then drew the brow line "box" on my brows for the second time and created so-called, "wings." I literally got up this time and erased those lines myself and redirected her to where they actually needed to go to follow my natural brow line. Which is what I came in for in the first place. And, still not right. She kinda does what "she" wants. This is a $900 service with a $200 follow up/touchup service. It's really really really not worth it. Not that I can't afford it, but if you're gonna pay this kind of money, you should get what you pay for with who you want to pay to do it. Not just gets shuffled off to somebody else in the salon because you have a family and you want to take most of the Summer off. If you have a business, take on a business, run that business!! I don't know if the ink will ever stick, it didn't the first time around. Still waiting for the touchup to heal, but my hopes are not high! Cannot recommend this place at all! I have reached out to Mila's personal cell a few times since and she has yet to answer me, just crickets all day long! Just save yourself the time, the money and the aggravation! I don't think I'm the only one that is going to have to go to another salon to do a cleanup on this botched job! This is way less than one star treatment! These are people's faces, for petes sake! When somebody searches you out for "your" expertise and you agree to take on the job, personally take on the job! After all, we aren't letting just anybody touch them. That's why we do our research beforehand. Steering new clients to other aestheticians in your salon, claiming that they are just as good when they clearly are not! For what?! read more

She explains everything well, is very safety & hygiene conscious, and a total perfectionist (which I so appreciate with this investment)!! Lack of transparency on PMU laser removal. Lack of education on laser removal capacity and requirements of specialized saline treatment needed to remove ink that isn't detected by laser technology they have in the office. Failure to educate that yellow/ green pigments will not be removed. False promises and attempt to cover that up with another expensive PMU. I wasted $700 here and was left with neon eyebrows. Amazing process from start to finish. From booking my 15 minute brow consultation with Mila to her finishing up the touches to my first very Microblading. She is booked out in advance, but they will put you on a waiting list when you first book with them and will text you if someone canceled their appointment. Took me about 3-4 times until my schedule was freed up to accept an earlier appointment. Mila definitely knows what she is doing and will probably be the only one I go to, to touch my face. I've wanted to get my brows done for a while now but it's all quite intimidating. For one-- who do you choose? This is a permanent makeup approach (or semi permanent might be the better term) and prices range from dirt cheap to wowzer! But price doesn't determine competency and abilities-- the work of the artist needs to speak for themselves. I liked how natural the brows looked in her portfolio and how she had examples of lighter skin/eye color with lighter brows. I think a range of skills with colors is very important and being fair skinned with blue eyes, I cannot pull off heavy black brows. The receptionist was friendly and even though I'm a tattooed, crazy haired lady walking in-- I didn't feel awkward or out of place (my nails aren't done, I wear makeup when I feel like it, I'm comfy in tshirts and jeans.) I had a very poor job done a while back and it took me several sessions to get the first set of brows removed. After all of it, I was afraid to try it again. I found Mila and was still in the process of getting my brows removed I had 2 sessions and had already paid quite a bit, I was told it would take up to 8 sessions for them to be completely removed before I could try again. I cannot say enough amazing things about Mila and her feather nanoblading! I was nervous to get this service done, but she made the entire process so easy Foremost, Mila is absolutely the kindest person I've been lucky to meet. Very friendly, diligent, professional, and extraordinarily patient. She spent over an hour mapping my brows to get the exact shape I wanted. She spent another ten minutes going over colors with me. She never once got frustrated or short with me. This patience shows in her exceptional work, I said I wanted very natural and that I would rather use a bit of makeup to fill in than have an overly full brow. The result: No one can tell my brows are nano-bladed, the look is seamless and natural. When I came home, my BF asked me if I had canceled my appointment, it looked so natural and so similar to what I created with makeup. While it used to take me 20 minutes to create great brows with gel, powder, pomade, and pencil, I am now out the door with a tiny bit of brow powder and Glossier's boy brow gel. I am very pleased with the result. Here's an even bigger plus - Mila's husband often works the front desk. He remembered me from my phone call booking, and helped reschedule me when I had a severe eczema rash and had to cancel. He was so thoughtful to ask me how it resolved when I came in for my appointment. These touches of genuine kindness from both Mila and her hubby make it easy to recommend their services. But truly, the results speak for themselves: my brows are perfect. NOTE: skip the numbing cream! I've had paper cuts that hurt more. It's more of like an annoying scratching than painful. I think the results and healing were better because I skipped the cream. My brows never scabbed, never got super itchy, and basically were fully healed after about 8-10 days. The color faded a bit more over about 4 weeks, but my healing was so much easier than I expected.
