Lack of transparency on PMU laser removal. Lack of education on laser removal capacity and requirements of specialized saline treatment needed to remove ink that isn't detected by laser technology they have in the office. Failure to educate that yellow/ green pigments will not be removed. False promises and attempt to cover that up with another expensive PMU. I wasted $700 here and was left with neon eyebrows. This business is dishonest or lacking essential tattoo removal knowledge. read more

During the appointment, I did think it was strange that she never taped my lashes up, but the salon had good reviews on Yelp, so I trusted that I was in good hands and didn't question it. When she finished and handed me the mirror, I immediately noticed the lashes on the outer corners kept swooshing downward and wrapping around my eyes. I would brush them back into place, but after only a few blinks they would fall and twist down again. I went to the front desk and asked why they seemed to be placed so far from my lash line. She told me that if she placed them any closer, it would irritate my eyes. I stood there looking in the mirror, honestly wanting so badly to love them, but they just kept falling and twisting around. She told me it was because I booked a hybrid set. At that point I was trying really hard not to cry because I knew I still had to pay for them. I asked if she could please remove them, and she said she could, but I would be charged an additional $50 for that too. She offered to add more lashes, but volume isn't the issue -- there are already plenty. I don't have a lot of money, and I know this may sound silly, but I just wanted to feel pretty. I went to my car and just started crying. I'm leaving for my trip tomorrow (May 20th) and instead I'm sitting here with lashes that keep dropping into my eyes. I keep pulling them out and trying to push them back up. Im really sad & wish i would have taken that money and got my nails or something else that would make me feel like i wasn't so ugly. read more

Amazing process from start to finish. From booking my 15 minute brow consultation with Mila to her finishing up the touches to my first very Microblading. She is booked out in advance, but they will put you on a waiting list when you first book with them and will text you if someone canceled their appointment. Took me about 3-4 times until my schedule was freed up to accept an earlier appointment. Mila definitely knows what she is doing and will probably be the only one I go to, to touch my face. I've wanted to get my brows done for a while now but it's all quite intimidating. For one-- who do you choose? This is a permanent makeup approach (or semi permanent might be the better term) and prices range from dirt cheap to wowzer! But price doesn't determine competency and abilities-- the work of the artist needs to speak for themselves. So I researched multiple companies and individuals and finally decided to visit Anastasiia at Mila Aesthetics. I liked how natural the brows looked in her portfolio and how she had examples of lighter skin/eye color with lighter brows. I think a range of skills with colors is very important and being fair skinned with blue eyes, I cannot pull off heavy black brows. Mila Aesthetics, on its own, is a chill, calm pleasant office with good vibes. The receptionist was friendly and even though I'm a tattooed, crazy haired lady walking in-- I didn't feel awkward or out of place (my nails aren't done, I wear makeup when I feel like it, I'm comfy in tshirts and jeans.) I had a very poor job done a while back and it took me several sessions to get the first set of brows removed. After all of it, I was afraid to try it again. I found Mila and was still in the process of getting my brows removed I had 2 sessions and had already paid quite a bit, I was told it would take up to 8 sessions for them to be completely removed before I could try again. Mila said why don't you try one of our sessions? I did one laser session and the brows were gone! I arrived @9:30 for my appointment she was on time and listened to me every step of the way. I cannot say enough amazing things about Mila and her feather nanoblading! I was nervous to get this service done, but she made the entire process so easy Foremost, Mila is absolutely the kindest person I've been lucky to meet. Very friendly, diligent, professional, and extraordinarily patient. She spent over an hour mapping my brows to get the exact shape I wanted. She spent another ten minutes going over colors with me. She never once got frustrated or short with me. This patience shows in her exceptional work, I said I wanted very natural and that I would rather use a bit of makeup to fill in than have an overly full brow. The result: No one can tell my brows are nano-bladed, the look is seamless and natural. When I came home, my BF asked me if I had canceled my appointment, it looked so natural and so similar to what I created with makeup. While it used to take me 20 minutes to create great brows with gel, powder, pomade, and pencil, I am now out the door with a tiny bit of brow powder and Glossier's boy brow gel. I am very pleased with the result. Here's an even bigger plus - Mila's husband often works the front desk. He remembered me from my phone call booking, and helped reschedule me when I had a severe eczema rash and had to cancel. He was so thoughtful to ask me how it resolved when I came in for my appointment. These touches of genuine kindness from both Mila and her hubby make it easy to recommend their services. But truly, the results speak for themselves: my brows are perfect. NOTE: skip the numbing cream! I've had paper cuts that hurt more. It's more of like an annoying scratching than painful. I think the results and healing were better because I skipped the cream. My brows never scabbed, never got super itchy, and basically were fully healed after about 8-10 days. The color faded a bit more over about 4 weeks, but my healing was so much easier than I expected. I will likely thicken up the shape with a touch-up with Mila in a few weeks, but right now, I am completely content with the results. read more
