Dr Hatch is wonderful, been seeing him for years. Debbie, the receptionist and Dr Cross have Issues, Just as Emily P. mentioned. I was told I could only schedule an appt a year, TO THE DAY, of my last appointment. I'll call my insurance to double check that requirement but Dr Hatch is retiring, I'll Look elsewhere. 2019 sugery resulted in a MRSA infection. Lost my eye, and my life as I knew it. Vision now is like looking threw a tunnel. No perifircal vision, and can not determine distances. Had to stop my hobbies. read more

it is a NIGHTMARE to deal with the staff!! it took me forever to make an appointment and make them understand my insurance coverage! I had to call my insurance and have them call the office and explain to them that my family is INDEED covered by my insurance!!! read more

I called this office from Idaho on Aug 3rd to make arrangements for my injections of Eylea because I have wet macular degeneration. I require injections in both eyes every 6 weeks. Any longer between shots and my retna bleeds. I did everything right, including transferring my insurance to MT starting Nov 1st. I am also approved for the Eylea program that pays for the injections if my insurance doesn't. I received a call the day before my injection telling me that unless I came up with a large payment up front to cover the office visit fee, I could not be seen. My husband and I live on a fixed income. At the final hour I was left without the care I need to prevent blindness or vision loss. I have not had a shot in my left eye since Sept 27th and now will probably have to wait over a month for an appt with another optomologist. Now I have to start the entire process over. I have to contact my old Dr for another referral and have to wait for another appt slot. I am a realist. You could have just told me to begin with. All you did was waste my time and may cause me to suffer vision loss. It's all about the money right? read more

We have been going to Eye Physicians for more than 40 years. My husband and I have seen a few different doctors there throughout the years. They have all been very professional, caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Hatch has been there from early on and we think he is great! Dr. Switzer is one of only two retinal specialists in BILLINGS! Dr. Rose is also one of our favorites! The whole staff is very personal and caring!! We highly recommend them! read more

I had an eye exam done by Dr. Cross and was charged over $200 for it. If you are to use the services of this business you should first find out how much the charge will be. I have never paid that much for an eye exam in my life. I talked to the billing department and they were of absolutely no help. Stay away from here if you do not want to get ripped off. read more

Not going back. My daughter and I have been clients of Eye Physicians and Surgeons for the past three years, but I am sad to say we will not be returning. My daughter, who has cerebral palsy, wears contact lenses to deter migraine headaches. Her eyeglass and contact exams are covered under Medicaid. However, EPS will only honor eyeglass exams, and does not accept Medicaid for contact lens "fitting" or the cost of lenses. Last year the "fitting" cost was $35, this year it's $185! Also, EPS will not extend my daughter's prescription before her next exam. Now my daughter has to wait an entire month to be seen. Which means, she will have to wear her glasses, and suffer migraine headaches for at least another 30 days. On another note, I brought in my own eyeglass frames and only had the lenses replaced. They charged me $256 just for lenses! With a rapidly decreasing customer base, I hope these Greedy-Gerts learn a valuable lesson. read more

I went to Eye Physicians and Surgeons because they were recommended to me by an acquaintance. Dr. Hatch was condescending and dismissive of my specific concerns and questions. The contact lens department sent me a trial lens that had absolutely nothing to do with my real prescription, and when I called to see what could be done, I was assured by the receptionist that the reason I was given a -10 power lens when my previous prescription was for a -13.5 was because "it's a toric."
