Update: to start, I communicated both of my insurances from the start that is my responsibility as the patient, so I'm not going to be made to look like I don't know what I am talking about with your response to cover your behinds. Even when I scheduled the initial appointment, the scheduler asked what do I have for insurance I did clear things up between insurances and explained my own personal confusion. My primary (does not have optical), which does not give staff an excuse to be rude and unprofessional. In the end, my secondary insurance was valid, which was another huge problem and the staff there was making it seem like I was making it up And for your office staff to smugly say we'll wait for the denial letter is crazy behavior. Had an eye exam on June 18, 2024 with Dr Jeffrey Crowley Was given a prescription for reading glasses, single vision. Everything seemed great that day, though I took quite awhile to find a pair of glasses that I liked. When I went to pick these glasses up, immediately knew they were not correct. I could only read clearly out of the top of the lenses. They adjusted the frames to fit better, but this did not change the fact that the correction for reading seemed to be only on the top of the lenses and grew worse as I looked down through the lens. They began bouncing the issue among themselves, and consulted with the lab gentleman. He walked out of the lab, looked at my paperwork, announced the glasses were single vision, checked in by him and they were perfect. He then walked back into the lab. He never addressed me, or looked at the glasses. He completely dismissed me, my concerns and the issue. One employee decided to move to the other part of the store to avoid me. I was left explaining multiple times that I could only see clearly from the top of the lenses. They explained that they had no solution for me. They suggested I would have to see the Dr again, as his prescription must be wrong. I again said, I believed the correction was correct at the top of the lens but it would appear there was some sort of progression lens, not a single vision. I retrieved my store readers and assured them, I could see perfectly though them, no matter where I was looking on the lens. They wanted me to sit in the waiting room and wait an unknown amount of time to possibly speak with Dr Crowley. I didn't have the time to do that, and didn't feel that was going to solve the issue. I elected to return the glasses for a refund. Upon returning home around 1:30 pm that same day, I called the Eye Q Vision office and asked to have a return call from Dr Crowley to discuss the issue and if he felt the prescription could be wrong. Dr Crowley did not return my call that day and has not called me back at any time since. I reported this issue to my Insurance company to have my benefits reinstated. Needless to say, I question my results of my eye exam, Dr Crowley's prescription and Eye Q Visions ability to get me a pair of reading glasses that work correctly. I waited several days for this office and Dr Crowley to call me, I decided writing a review to help others make decisions about going to a reputable business was necessary. I will not return to Eye Q Vision and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Our visit was 7/27/19. Paid $372.30 for glasses with insurance plan. Told will have glasses in 7-10 days. Discovered after getting insurance papers that we had overpaid. Not contacted by them in regards to getting $$ back it is 9/4/19 and we still don't have any glasses (but they have our $$) and we have not been contacted. Everyone was very friendly while there, but this is ridiculous the about of time it has taken in addition to the fact that they have been overpaid and not been in touch with sending us difference. read more

Eye Q, vision has done right by me. They were wonderful all around I got a very nice pair of glasses that look good and they help me pick out. This is by far the best place I've gone to for an eye appointment. I'm was very impressed with their professionalism and bedside manner. Each staff member greated my children and me with a warm welcome. To top it all off, they were extremely kid friendly. This is huge for me having 3 small children.
