I was prompted by my regular doctor I would have to wait 4+ weeks for an appointment, which wasn't an option for me considering the circumstances. I got fed up after dealing with the rude receptionist and considering my eyes were in pain I decided to look elsewhere to see who could get me in sooner. I found America's best both online and through a friends recommendation. I scheduled an appointment online and was shocked when I found out they could get me in the same day I scheduled. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted and found out that I hadn't actually completed the process of registering for a appointment, but with no hesitation the staff (despite being fairly busy) immediately said they would fit me in. The doctor was very pleasant and helped me with everything I needed. She even worked with me one on one on personalized methods on how to get my eyes feeling better. I considered her to be passionate and she seemed to genuinely care, something you don't see a lot with doctors. When my exam was completed I met with staff in the front to pick out new glasses (I really needed some new ones). Everyone in the entire store was nothing but helpful and friendly to me. I never once experienced anyone being rude or snippy like described in some of the other reviews. I went with the deal (not sure what the official name of the deal was) where you got 3 years of eye exams for $99. Who can beat this? It cost me $200 PER visit which occurred every year at my regular eye-doctor-- oh and at America's best this deal included 10% off glasses and contacts for three years. To me, it was a heck of a deal. I ended up getting two pairs of glasses, complete with all the anti-glare, anti-scratch, etc., lenses which I also got deals on (20% off the first pair, 50% off the second). So all in all my ENTIRE visit which was an eye exam (for three years) and two pairs (of fully loaded lenses) glasses cost me $391. Oh and the glasses I got were brand name-- one pair was even RayBans so whoever has an argument they don't carry brands isn't looking hard enough. Overall my experience was awesome. I will most likely never go anywhere else. A typical eye exam + 1 pair of brand name glasses runs at least $300 more than what I paid today. If you can find somewhere that's a better deal for you, more power to you, but America's Best is my go-to for anything eye related from now on!

I get the glasses & they have transitions lenses & are for the computer & reading but I can only read something that is 2 inches from my face!!
