However, the customer service and administrative side of the practice consistently fall short. We've received multiple voicemails that are vague or poorly explained, making it difficult to understand what action (if any) we need to take. Interactions with the front desk staff often feel brusque, and basic courtesies--like saying "thank you"--seem to be absent. The overall demeanor is surprisingly unwelcoming for a medical practice. I honestly don't know if this is just our experience or if it affects other families as well. It may have nothing to do with us specifically, but the contrast between the quality of the medical care and the quality of the customer service is stark. We will continue seeing the doctor because her care is exceptional, but I hope the practice invests in improving its front-end service. Families shouldn't have to tolerate poor interactions in order to access great medical care.

His front desk staff is very nice, as is his assistant. Dr. Menger was professional and listened to all of my concerns. I didn't feel rushed or anything. He took his time and did all necessary tests on me to determine if there was anything wrong with my right eye. He was kind & patient with me, he explained all the conditions that may be going on with my eye, before & after all testing. Definitely recommend.

I awoke one morning last September with a sizable style in my lower right eyelid. It was tough to see and oh, so attractive. Our Ophthalmologist in Manhattan retired in 2021 and I hadn't yet found his replacement. I asked the friendly staff at MK Vision Center, where I buy all of my eyeglasses for a recommendation: Dr. Singh at Downtown! My first visit at Downtown went well and Dr. Singh diagnosed me with Angle Closure Glaucoma. He told me about Glaucoma, how I could have an attack, and why it could cost me my eyesight (damage is irreversible). He recommended the laser procedure, I thought about it and decided to go for it. I just had Laser Iridotomy on my right eye this morning and I am surprised and pleased at how wonderful I am seeing and feeling right now. I intend to have my left eye operated on next week and look forward to continuing to develop a relationship with Dr. Singh and his staff. GO!

He was recommended by my primary care physician, as my previous eye doctor had moved his office. I was very nervous going there, as I don't like having my pupils dilated, and I had been having some vision problems as of late. The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. The receptionist greeted me by telling me how nice it was to meet me after we had spoken several times on the phone. She made me feel more at ease. The technician led me to the exam room, and was polite and professional as he took my information and medical history. They even take a photo via the computer to add to your file! Dr, Kruh was one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. He introduced himself when he walked in the room, took the time to talk to me and asked me about any current issues I was experiencing with my eyes, and I felt more relaxed and not rushed. I subsequently verbally beat myself up about not staying on top of my vision problems, as I had been busy with other issues, and he advised me that I should just focus on making better choices moving forward, now that I was sitting there. I mentioned that I was nervous, and he reassured me that there was no need to worry. Dr. Kruh was very thorough with the exam. He performed some diagnostic procedures, with different types of lights, that I had never had done before. When I was not opening my eyes wide enough, he gently held my eyes open so that he could view everything he needed to, to make an accurate diagnosis. And when he dilated my pupils, I was more at ease, so it was not as bad as I had recalled. When all was said and done, he took the time to explain the results of the tests, provided me with a new prescription for glasses, and gave me some sample eye drops. I had mentioned that I am on the computer many hours during the day, and he told me that people will often not blink enough when they are looking at a computer, and your eyes get dry. He suggested I keep a bottle on my desk at work. I will no longer be neglecting my eyes in the future. Dr. Khuh and Comprehensive Ophthalmology have taken away my apprehension of going for my annual eye exam. I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Kruh and Comprehensive Ophthalmology to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor. They are the best!

Why didn't the front desk tell me all this when I made the appointment a few weeks ago. When I specifically said I wanted to get my prescription checked and asked if it was covered by insurance. The front desk person responded with yes, all covered. So unprofessional and unhelpful!!!!
