It was meant to be a very special day, likely his last live baseball game ever, and we spared no expense, spending over $1,000 on tickets to make it memorable and comfortable for him. What we experienced instead was an absolute disaster that nearly ruined the entire day. No one showed up for our 12:30 PM pickup. Despite calling the office to confirm earlier that day, we were left stranded at his assisted living facility. I was on hold for 15 minutes before they hung up, and after that, they stopped answering my calls. By pure luck, I had the number of the afternoon driver (Victor), who called earlier to confirm the 5 PM pickup. I called him, and he was able to get in touch with dispatch--only to tell me no driver had been assigned and they had no solution. We scrambled to find another ride and luckily were able to get a Yellow Cab wheel transport to rush over. We ended up walking into the game in the 3rd inning--missing the start of a day we had planned for weeks and paid dearly for. After the game, the 5 PM ride never came either. Once again, we were stranded--this time outside the stadium in the heat, with my elderly father in his wheelchair, trying to keep him cool and hydrated while I made dozens of unanswered calls for an hour. We reached out to seven different taxi companies, none of which had wheelchair transport available. I finally called Victor again and explained the situation, we were stranded and desperate--thankfully, he pushed through with dispatch, got himself reassigned, and came to get us. He was the only bright spot in an otherwise nightmare of a day. This was not just about poor logistics--it was about putting an elderly, disabled man through unnecessary distress and completely failing to deliver the service we paid for. It turned what should have been a beautiful memory into a day filled with stress, rushing, and worrying for my father's well-being. If you're considering using this company for wheelchair transportation, please think twice--especially if you're dealing with someone vulnerable. We were lucky we had backup options. Not everyone will.

Today is September 9th and all we have had is requests for more money: "Gee, you said it was a mid-size car, but it's a truck," despite the fact they were told it is a short bed truck from the beginning, and procrastination. They have lied repeatedly about a pick up date and I just heard today that our friend who originally arranged this as a surprise for me was told they refused to refund his $200 deposit. I informed him the credit card company will IMMEDIATELY refund the deposit and then launch an investigation. The CC company charges the business $25 regardless of how the protest is resolved, meaning this is just the beginning for these clowns. I can't wait to provide input on this. Nor can my husband, who is furious. Here we are, almost 6 weeks later, with nothing. And the seller of the truck, who has stored it all this time? Not at all happy, either.

Like any other person I turned to internet and added my query for a quote, in no time my inbox and voice mail was full, I happen to take a call unfortunately from Universal Transport Services ,Inc (Address:1250 E Hallandale Bch Blvd STE 602 Hallandale, FL 33009), I wanted to get a quote and the person on line gave me a quote which i did not like as I have seen better numbers, he asked for my credit card to keep on file in order to provide me a final price and I carelessly gave it out, in return he gave me a more aggressive quote, to which I said I need time to think about it, call was over. Next day I notice a $450 charge on my card by Universal Transport Services without my authorization, searched internet to find the company and tried calling them back and also wrote emails. I get the reception and she forwards my call to a voice mail, emails are never answered. This goes on for 10 days while I am working with the Credit Card company and still no response from these guys. I started looking for a new carrier and all carriers mention that my quote has been listed by universal and they can not book me unless I ask universal to remove my listing. Universal people (BTW very rude bunch) are not ready to talk to me. I wrote emails to company with the name of the person I talked to first day, I get a call from this guy who tells me he knows my address and will come and hunt me down. In the mean while company also contacted me and they refuse to take down my listing and my move date is getting dangerously close. They knew my move date and were black mailing me, finally they gave me an offer to move my vehicle for double the original quote and at dates which were way off from what requested, since I had no other option complied and finally moved my vehicle at double the price and at all wrong dates. From the moment we boarded, there was an unpleasant odor on the bus. By our first stop, the smell had become overwhelming. The bus was filled with the odor of urine and feces, even though no one from our group had used the onboard restroom. The smell became so bad that passengers could not comfortably sit in the back of the bus. In an effort to make the trip bearable, we purchased bleach and air freshener ourselves. Troop leaders repeatedly sprayed disinfectant and air freshener before the children boarded. We also asked the driver to have the restroom emptied and cleaned, and parents even provided locations where the restroom could be serviced. The issue persisted throughout much of the trip. What was most disappointing was the response from the owner when we raised our concerns. We were told that the company was "a bus service, not a cleaning service." Cleanliness and sanitation should be a basic expectation when transporting passengers--especially children. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend inspecting any bus thoroughly before departure. No group should have to endure hours of travel in those conditions.
