If you are a condominium association considering hiring Compass Management Professionals, I…read morestrongly encourage you to thoroughly evaluate other management companies before making your decision. My experience as an owner at Lilley Pointe Condominium Association has been extremely disappointing. Over many months, I repeatedly requested basic financial transparency regarding significant Association expenditures, including road reconstruction, landscaping, snow removal, and special assessments. Despite numerous emails, a certified records request, and multiple follow-ups, I was unable to obtain the level of documentation I requested to understand how Association funds were being spent. As an out-of-state owner, I authorized a local representative to inspect records on my behalf. Instead of receiving meaningful access, the process involved repeated delays, scheduling issues, and restrictions that made reviewing the records extremely difficult. Communication was another major concern. Many of my questions went unanswered or were met with responses that did not address the information I requested. Meanwhile, violation notices and additional charges continued to be issued. If you value: financial transparency, timely communication, responsiveness to owners, and accountability, my experience suggests you should carefully evaluate whether this management company meets those expectations before entering into a contract. For existing owners, I encourage you to become actively involved in your association. Read your governing documents, attend meetings if possible, ask questions about significant expenditures, and work together with other owners if you believe improvements in governance or transparency are needed.

CRITICAL WARNING TO ALL CONDO BOARDS AND OWNERS: AVOID COMPASS MANAGEMENT…read more If your condominium association is considering hiring Compass Management Professionals because they promised cost savings, learn from our nightmare and look elsewhere. Their actual rating speaks for itself, and the widespread complaints about communication shutdowns, extreme rudeness, and complete disorganization are 100% accurate. Here is the stark reality of dealing with this management company and their agent, Stacy: Total Absence of Financial Accountability: They completely restrict access to crucial association financial data. If you demand itemized vendor contracts, clear balance sheets, or general ledgers--which you have a legal right to inspect as a co-owner--you will be handed entirely useless, superficial summaries. It is an absolute eye-wash designed to keep owners completely in the dark about how their assessment funds are actually being allocated. Hostile Retaliation Against Inquiring Owners: Compass operates with zero customer service standards. If you dare to ask legitimate questions regarding financial transparency or operational integrity, they do not answer. Instead, they actively retaliate, utilizing targeted rule enforcement and arbitrary violations to pressure vocal owners into silence. To Any Prospective Condo Board Considering Hiring Them: Do not let them near your community. Once they secure a management contract, removing them is an incredibly painful, drawn-out process. Save your community the severe drop in operational standards and avoid them at first sight. To Existing Co-Owners: We must coordinate collectively to exercise our rights and terminate our association's contract with this company immediately. The longer they manage our funds with zero accountability, the worse our property standards will get. Compass Management Professionals is an absolute liability to any community they touch. Avoid them at all costs.

Worked with agent Ramesh Patel from this office. Terrible, dishonest, unprofessional and worst…read moreagent to work with. I bought a house where Ramesh Patel was the agent selling the house. He got pushy, strong-armed me into making the buy decision saying other buyers are ready with highest bids over mine. I took all that and dealt with it, given the current crazy sellers market and went forward to get the house. Right before closing I found several issues with the house and contract. Seller clearly stated HVAC not working, both A/C and Heating, roof leaking etc. in the seller's disclosure. When I pointed that out and started negotiating the price, Ramesh said he is not aware of any issues with the house and he will talk to the seller and get back. He got back to me saying those are clerical errors on the seller's paper work and provided me an updated seller's disclosure showing nothing wrong with the house and everything checked out fine. I believed that and closed the house. Later I moved into the house and found out all the same issues stated in the original seller's disclosure within the first week of moving. I still had the original copy of sellers disclosure saved in my email. I referred it back to confirm. Ramesh provided misleading information to me, misrepresented the seller, outright lied, and made seller conceal information in the contract. I called Ramesh about all this and his response was, I bought the house in as-is condition and him nor the seller is not responsible for any issues with the house. When I asked for a refund or help with fixing those issues, Ramesh was very rude, unprofessional and started cursing and yelling at me saying, there were several offers on the house and I wouldn't have gotten this house if not for his flexibility in working with me on sharing the highest bids with me. He didn't do me any favor, he was just bargaining and price gouging with my buyers side agent. He wouldn't even show us the highest submitted bid as a proof, he calls us and tells us to revise the offer or he would give the house away. Stay away from this agent. I do not recommend. He would go any far and would do anything to self benefit from the sale.
