service was great, markus , jp, Alysa, brooks, and just about every employee there ive had them go above and beyond. selection is great, but i have a sneaking suspicion it because they are offering 40-50% of spot and charging 200/gram for 14k while paying 40 or less. they've revamped the entire gold process (after it went down from 4450 down to under 3900 They decided that was a good time to raise prices 15% and take away all long term discounts-aside from the bust downs and stone filled rings they know they can't scrap without putting in the man hours)
they no longer give discount based on time in shop. I was spending a ton of money with them. I asked for a district manager to call me and I never did get a call from him. I got a call from 2 store managers and employee asking me for work. while I did run into the district manager at 2 stores he ignored tnoth times and shut a door in my face so he could hide in the office before they buzzed me in.9 months ago I had a GREAT relationship with EZ pawn, but the last two weeks theyve treated me fairly poorly. I can say without a doubt I'll never step foot in another again and they've lost every dollar I'll ever spent again. while I a am a dealer I was paying 5$ over the last scrap guy (or more) across the board. when I heard they were no longer dealing with wholeaers I wasn't shocked it's your business. I was shocked to see that they seem to have something going on because all the old inventory is being scrapped still and it smells to me like a brother in law situation. I had over 6K dollars in cash I handed to a manager (whom already had approval to purchase the items that were undesired and been there for over 6 months and up to 18 (I know this because I spent an hour with the employee trying to take the stuff they could sell and the date it comes in is printed on the rear of the tag) mind you gold was 4350/0z when I was buying at this time. the manager got a phone call (from the manager who approved the purchase btw) to cancel my order after she had cash in hand and started to put it in the drawer. She gave me a sad look knowing she just lost her bonus and handed me my 6400$ back and canceled the sale (that had already been completed and recipt printed! it was the last week of the month, helps them hit numbers/ bonuses/ and make capital. mind you 6-18 months ago if they weee paying 50% on 14K per gram (ill be generous and say it was 2500/oz) they were paying Cust 22.50-25/gram.
I think it had the ability to be a great
store with items to turnover like crazy, but they are focusing on sellling 150 gram silver Cubans for 850. And 10 gram old school wire rope chains (with snagged and broken sections) for 2300$ this is as of today (oct 28th 2025) pictures available upon request.
Again the employee id steal in a heart beat because they know if you pay 350 for a necklace that priced 1400 and im offering 750 still over scrap) on top of buying Thousands more it's make sense to turn capital and re invest your money. talking to the mom and pops they bought out they hate it and wish they could have stayed independent. EZPAWN is the last place to seek. Your precious metals, tools, or anything or real value. Sell it yourself, find a gold buyer (not even me just someone willing to pay you 75-85%% rather than 40-50%. I could go on and on but I think the point is made. Do better, have a meeting, re evaluate, and make EZ pawn more than the poor tax loan office you're turning into. We have enough cash for title loans and check cashing places now owed under the jumbrella corp.
Best of luck with all future endeavors I hope you start to make money while being honest You can do both read more
