Not complaining about how much we got for the trade value, was more than we were expecting. Now 08/11/21 the truck has no A/C, has yet another coolant leak, having rear end trouble, having transmission problems. Now this truck was looked over by Prue Diesel, I'm not sure who looked over this truck but they must be blind. I took the word of the dealer that this had been professionally looked over, one of the main reasons we bought this truck. The truck its self has been a nightmare. I understand buying a used vehicle comes with risk but if you are told that a company has looked it over and they specialize in diesels like most people you take their word. Now the truck is sitting as a paper weight awaiting a few thousand dollar repair bill. Ill say that again a few thousand bill. I haven't owned this a month. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Now the buying process was a breeze and Ben who was great by the way did everything on the financing side and did an amazing job. That was insane I trusted my gut and went to Eurobahn, I asked them if they could check it out while they were doing the alignment for my car, all it needed was the bulb being replaced, the light is gone. I told my advisor Felix I want everything up front no bs, if it needed to be done I would've done it, but Felix literally saved me hundreds of dollars to not fall for that. The other driver's insurance was covering the damages, so we brought it here hoping for a smooth process. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but that especially because of the way we were treated by one of their employees, McKenzie. From the very beginning, she was extremely rude and demeaning. She spoke to my husband as if he were ignorant, and when we asked reasonable questions about the repair process, her responses were dry, unhelpful, and completely lacking in professionalism. She provided misleading information and made what was already a stressful situation even more difficult. Her attitude was dismissive and lacked even the most basic level of compassion or courtesy. When we ultimately decided to take our car elsewhere for repairs, McKenzie acted immaturely refusing to speak directly with my husband and behaving as though we were the problem once he got there to pick up the car. If you're looking for respectful, professional, and honest customer service, look elsewhere. I strongly urge Mid-Town Body Shop to properly train their staff, especially McKenzie, on how to treat customers with basic decency. We will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

I called State Farm & told them we needed to find a suitable vehicle and they were accommodating with increasing coverage if necessary. We found a suitable model in Asheboro and Enterprise brought it to the local office but it smelled like freshly smoked marijuana. So no go with that vehicle. I was ambushed when I asked to meet with the owner Brian Owens. He couldn't maintain eye contact when we met so I suspected he was upset. He was totally focused on our '24 Genesis not being a luxury vehicle..saying BMW, AUDI, Mercedes, Lexus were not in the same class. And it was a "Hyundai". Same price ranges and similar performance but somehow not the same class. Insulting. The new owner Brian Owens is insulting and doesn't take responsibility for what his business represents as services provided. His phone script (that he says he wrote) states that they work with your insurance company to set up car rentals to make it easy for customers to use their service. He did not handle the situation professionally. I even asked that we discuss in an office or away from the front desk but he insisted on being loud and confrontational in front of his front desk staff. Not a nice guy. After our encounter I called the front desk and apologized for our discussion that had to happen in front of them. I doubt this is the culture previous owner Larry Walker wants as a legacy and I feel badly for the staff who work in Brian's toxicity.

Repaired the part that needed it and did a little touch up paint (Not affiliated with the repair) without charge. They are decent garage mechanics. It's not a glamorous wait area or high dollar facility, but it is what you would expect from mechanics working hard at fixing cars. They are locals and have a great reputation even from the other garages in the area. Now that's the kind of reference to go on.
