I had my floors refinished by them previously and it was done very well. However, the recent…read morerefinishing was done so poorly that It left me in tears. Firstly, the individual who did the lower level left multiple swirls on the floor so they had to redo the sanding. I assumed that it resulted in them being late for other projects because they then rushed the polyurethane application and applied it so heavily that it took 2 weeks to dry and still felt tacky when you walked on it. The finish also had hundreds of air bubbles throughout the entire finish with some small areas having no polyurethane at all revealing raw wood. He fixed those areas by further heavily applying polyurethane to the spots which left unattractive raised areas of polyurethane. I still have areas that were sanded with no polyurethane applied. Finally my new floors feel like sandpaper beneath my feet which is absolutely unbearable. It feels like fingernail on a chalk board under my feet. I called Alberto to let him know I was dissatisfied with the project but he offered no solution. The original flooring was done over 20 years ago and was perfectly done. 2 years ago I had a bono finish done by Alberto that was dull and easily scuffed. I had Alberto redo the floors because I wanted to go back to the polyurethane finish. I have never argued his price and paid immediately after agreeing on the contract YET I was not treated well.

In an increasingly digital and detached world where we barely understand our children's digital lives, it's nice to deal with a company that hasn't outsourced itself to an algorithm, yet is as efficient and smooth as Amazon when it comes to service. Same people, I've never asked but they either pay their employees well or they love working there. Sun comes up everyday so do our linens arrive, on time, no nonsense. I can't recommend them enough considering how difficult it is these days to find companies that you will actually have a long term relationship with. They have been around for decades so you know they aren't disappearing anytime soon. We are a medium sized business, between 50-75 employees, and if I could knock of more tasks to people like them I could go live in Florida and not have to worry about the business.
