Raab Well drilling did tens of thousands of dollars of work here for us over the past 4 years,…read moreincluding a geothermal project plus work on three pre-existing wells, all of them over 600 ft deep. I would have been the first to recommend them with ***** if it were not for the last well, which soured all the good will they had built with us. On every job, I deferred to Rick Raab's recommendations, never tried to negotiate down the price, paid immediately on receipt of invoice. This last job to renew the pump and galvanized pipe that were failing was no exception. Unfortunately, substituting PVC for the galvanized never worked, it failed two times. To Rick's credit, he replaced the PVC with galvanized at his expense, he never asked me to cover any of the materials or labor. Then the new variable speed pump he installed to replace the traditional Gould failed. That is where things broke down between us. I offered to pay for a new Gould pump but they ghosted me. I am left holding the paid bill for $1000's with nothing to show for it, just a deep dark useless hole in the ground. I have owned many small businesses and sympathize with others that have "bad" customers but that's not the case here. I am a stellar customer who treats people with respect, pays promptly and every contractor who ever worked for me will back me up, even in court if it comes to that. I hope it doesn't. I just want a fair handshake settlement for everyone.

We were in a desperate situation with no water and didn't have much choice at that point. The owner was condescending and said he gave us a "deal" on the wire. When I researched the cost of the wire quoted on line, we were most definitely overcharged 2-3x. I would not call again.

They tested my water and explained the problem and suggested a solution to fix it! I later found from neighbors that this was common in our area! The solution was a simple inexpensive neutralizing system which took out the iron and filtered the water; this stopped red rings from forming in our toilet bowls and sinks! They service it once a year at a very low cost! My well system has function perfectly since it was installed, because of the high quality products used in the installation! The personnel are always friendly and informative! Todd Mayer has followed in his father's foot steps to provide a first class well drilling operation in our community! I learned from my experience when they drilled my well that many unforeseen problems can occur when drilling a well. Mayers was able to over come these issues in a professional way that saved us time and expense. Well drilling is an unpredictable service due to the structure of the earth the well is being drilled into, their skills over came those challenges!

They didn't complain and it was dark and cold, but they removed to old non-working pump and replaced it with a new on and tested everything before leaving, And when it was time to pay the bill they didn't take advantage of me, the price was fair and work was done the right way. Bart submitted a proposal at a reasonable cost well before closing as part of the closing requirement and called me to let me know it was submitted. Immediately after closing I called Bart and as I was living some 50 minutes away I left him with my door key pad code and allowed access to complete the work. It didn't take very long to have the chlorination completed. As I'm pulling up he was already wrapping up and was the most jolly man I could've expected. We showed him the video of my sons reaction to seeing the house for the first time and becoming very emotional with joy. Bart was so touched by this he actually worked with his company admin to prepare a special gift basket for my son featuring his favorite superhero, Spider-Man, some pijamas, a lamp, a bed set with converter and the works. It was delivered in person by the admin and we are so overjoyed and satisfied by this. It came from their hearts and Bart has a special place in our hearts and home. As long as Al's waterpump exists I will not work with any other specialist. I already have some additional work I am saving up for as Bart will be upgrading our pump system and we look forward to working with him for many years to come. Let's face facts, nobody is happy calling a drain service, it always means there is a problem,…read morethere is no good time for a drain issue, and try to think is something you'd less like want to spend money, literally down the drain. So reviews are going to be tense from the jump. But this company came out, late based online booking, by 9pm and we were back in service. I note professional office phone reception and fantastic service technician. I wasn't planning on a drain issue when the day started. I just wanted it fixed before the day ended, and this company succeeded.

We weren't happy that we had to do it because of the price tag but he gave us tips on how to prevent issues later on. He was polite and prompt. --- after he left I had to clean up around the mulch where debris came out and I went to screw the cap back on the clean out pipe which was left unsecured. I then noticed the pipe was now loose. I looked down the pipe with a flash light and it was a clean break off the trap. The pipe was broken and not secured to the trap. They said they're coming back to fix on Wednesday but want to charge me for it. Wasn't broken before the job. Should not be all on me. Rating depends on the resolution of this $825 job
