The WOD was very challenging for strength and endurance and fortunately not technical because the coach gave no points of performance or skill reinforcement. If you've been doing CF for a long time and just need to drop-in, this box is fine. It's not bad, but I can say I won't be going back…read more I let the young guy at the front desk know I was also going to check out another gym down the road to compare pricing and see which one best fit my needs. I also asked him to check if this was the gym my minor daughter uses, since my wife couldn't remember the name. He said she didn't have a membership there, so I told him I would check the other gym as well because I wanted to sign up where my daughter goes so we could go together. What turned me off was that he started talking negatively about the other gym and their equipment. I told him it wasn't fair to talk down about other gyms like that, and that people will choose what works best for them. I went to the other gym, and it is nicer, cleaner, and $10 per month less. When I got home, I confirmed that the membership we're currently paying for, for our daughter is at Performance Fitness. I'll be moving her membership to the new gym, and I'm sure her friends will follow. One recommendation for the owners: hire someone at the front desk who is more mature and respectful.

My husband and I signed up for a three-month, 8-class membership. As a result, we were charged for an additional month in November. During that time, we were traveling and unable to use the additional 8 classes we each paid for. The manager at the time informed us that our unused classes could be extended until the end of the year. However, that manager is no longer at this location, and the new manager told me there is nothing they can do and that we are simply out of luck. This has been very disappointing and does not reflect good customer service. We paid for classes we were told would be honored, and now we are being told otherwise. New management/ownership appears unwilling to offer any reasonable accommodation or compensation. Given this experience, I will not be recommending this location to friends or neighbors.

I absolutely love Pilates, specifically Club Pilates, & each of the instructors (& the other members!) THAT MUCH!! Who knew exercise could be so amazing?! Each instructor brings her own personality & makes working out fun, interesting & leaves me looking forward to the next class. After just a couple months, my posture is improving, my body feels better, I'm getting stronger from head to toe & having a fantastic time! Pilates (on the reformer) has actually surpassed swimming & water exercise in my book, which is saying something. I'm planning to continue as long as I live.

I also had to take a few weeks off for a surgery, and in coming back, Coach James and Coach Lexi have helped and encouraged me every step of the way, helping me scale and tailor the workouts so I wouldn't cause any injuries. They are amazing and really know their stuff. I also can't say enough about the community at Muddy Water. I have quite literally gained another family since starting there. I've always felt awkward and out-of-place walking into other gyms, but this is never the case at CFMW.
