I told the employee about the allergy, said it was mild and that everything would be good if they just used a washed ice cream scoop. She checked with someone else (a manager?) who said that because they have peanut butter ice cream they couldn't serve our son. I tried to tell her what I told the other person but got continuously interrupted. She finally said 'we WON't serve him!'. He was very upset, and they easily could have made the situation work. It was ridiculous customer service!

It has a great atmosphere and the small shop makes it great for the overall theme of a small Italian gelato shop. The selection is larger than one might think as they have over 8 flavones and they offer free puppy cones for dogs. My one problem is there is no seating on the premises so you have to go next door which isn't bad. Beppis gelato shop is a wonderful spot especially on a hot summer day, great for just enjoying life.
