I purchased a large Mylar and six latex balloons. The gal and guys in the stores helped me because I couldn't find certain colors. They got right to work on my order. It took about 25 minutes because they do have to help others, but I walked out a happy customer. The really awesome thing is that the latex balloons are still standing three days later and have not fallen. I will continue to go to Michael's for all my balloon needs.

They do not offer classes here but the lady working that afternoon was able to suggest another place for lessons. As you can see from the pictures, it's a small shop but carries bolts of fabric in a rainbow of colors, shades, prints and designs. They also sell quilting supplies, patterns, books, thread, notions, etc. Since I'm not a quilter (yet), I have no comparison for the fabric pricing although quilting specialty shops tend to have very quality product made for durability. My purpose in coming here was to drop off a quilt top made by my great-grandmother decades ago and have it finished which is another service they provide. In a few weeks, I can post a picture of the finished product! Again, the person working was great in helping to offer various options and guide my selections since I am a complete novice.
