I know it may sound like an exaggeration, but it was truly terrible. It was straight out of a cheap machine and served with nothing: no spoon, no sugar in a small paper cup. I couldn't taste the coffee and I had to beg for some sugar. They gave us one tiny sugar package each, I guess they were trying to save sugar for the pastries. Stick to the pastries, pass on the coffee. We threw away the two "cappuccinos". I'd still go just for their extremely good pastries and ignore the poorly trained staff.

The tart sweetness of raspberries on top helped brighten the pistachio cream. The choux pastry for the shell was light and airy. Their pasteis de nata was also a nice surprise. After eating many pastel de nata in Portugal earlier this year, I can genuinely say Antoinette's version is right up there with the best of them! I only bought three for immediate consumption, which was really two more than someone w a normal appetite should eat in a single sitting, but probably four fewer than I could have polished off in the span of five minutes. If pastries aren't your thing, you fail - but...they also have excellent looking breads - there were a few adorbs French families loading up on loaves - and they also have sandwiches.
