I have heard a lot about microblading and was interested in a semi-permanent enhancement to my face. I did a lot of research, and decided to look for a Phi Brow-trained Microblading artist and ended up finding Brows by Niki. I am so very happy that I decided to have my brows done. I feel like my face is complete! I wake up knowing I don't have to play "Where's Waldo" with the right color of brow pencil at the cosmetic counter anymore. Michigan, etc. I see she has good reviews so I trusted her. She did a full "dramatic" set on my virgin lashes. During the application my eyes were burned from fumes coming from the lash glue. She mentioned using a different glue then continued, instead using a fan to blow air on my face. When I left my eyes were sensitive and swollen. A few days later my eyes stopped watering and I liked the look of the lashes. One week later I had lost several of my own lashes and extensions, which were now falling out in clumps. Megan refused to correct her work and became confrontational. In fact, this was her reply: "I think all of this is to get some type of refund which is why I'm not going to waste my time or yours with other glues." I'm writing this review because it's been a few months and I have been to a real professional remove and replace them with a weeks rest in between. We both noticed she had applied (glued) one extension to several lashes, clumping them together. This shortcut resulted in my loosing several lashes when the extensions fell off. I do not recommend Megan for lash extensions. Perhaps she is better with Makeup, I don't know. However, I do know from my own experience that there are other lash professionals who stand behind their work and know how to apply the lashes correctly to achieve a beautiful result with minimal damage to your natural lashes. Update: I'm still seeing the same lash artist who fixed my lashes after Megan's mishap. My lashes have since grown back and are looking beautiful with the addition of extensions. Whenever I have fallout or any issues at all I'm able to book a repair between appointments. No problems. No excuses. No selfies. I will let Megan's response speak for itself.

I got Megan's name from a friend (who was in a wedding that she did) and did a trial with her the day of my shower, so we could talk about colors and what I liked. She is such a sweet person and an incredibly talented makeup artist. She 100% listened to what I was looking for and any concerns I had, and above all, made me look like my best self! I also loved that she uses variety of different makeup brands so you're not all just one specific counter (a couple people recommended to stay away from MAC for my wedding since it tends to be more dramatic and that's not what I was going for). Megan's pricing was also really reasonable and it included everything - full face, eyelashes (in my opinion, a MUST!) and airbrushing. We had a total of 10 girls (including me, my mom and my groom's mom), so she brought an assistant with her as well and they were both amazing! They arrived on time and stayed with us until we all looked gorgeous. ALL of my girls (and my VERY picky M-I-L) are still talking about how good they looked! Thank you so much, Megan!!!

First, you go in and you have it done and they look FANTASTIC!! You are super excited. Over the next 14 days your brows will flake off and lose a lot of color. Mine like most of the color and my brows were sparse and boring. I was regretting wasting my money. But after 5 weeks I went back for my touch up. Again, immediately following the procedure I loved the sharpness and the color. I new they would fade and soften (they were admittedly a bit harsh), but wasn't sure how they would turn out. So, I went ahead and waited to take an "after" photo. They look pretty good. I would have really preferred they be darker. I don't have any makeup on in this photo, but I have been having to add powder to my brows. I did this so I wouldn't need to do that. It could just be that right after they fade like this, they go from very dark and crisp to more natural (which is what you want) and they just appear too light to me. It's tough to say. My goal of having this done was to not need makeup at all over the summer months. I want to go with a more natural look (with a ton of help, but look like I am not trying too hard). Overall, I think they look pretty darn good.

I've been to many others to get my lashes done, and no one compares to Leslie's attention to detail, patience, and skill. Also, her store is beautiful; very soothing and comforting. It usually feels like a "chore" or "necessary evil" to go out and get my lashes done, but not when I go to La La Lashes! Also - Leslie does spray tanning. I'm usually not a fan, but was a little pale before a wedding recently so decided to get it done. Zero streaking, no funky smell, unlike the last place I went. Love her work!
