I was promised the job would come out perfect and the door would look like new. They charged me a thousand dollars. On the day the repair man came, he showed up very late. He once again told me the job was difficult, would take all day, would probably go into the next day but, that it would come out prefect in the end. He then left for home depot to get tools as he did not show up with the right equipment, even after they came out to see the job several days before hand. Well, he worked on the job for a few hours, and then stated that that was the best he could do, although the door looks much better it is by no means perfect and still shows signs of a dent. In total for a thousand dollars these people made about 350 and hour, and left me with much less then what they promised. To make more money they pumped up that the job was difficult and would take an expert and time but it would be perfect. What they delivered was much less then perfect and no where near worth a thousand dollars. I was conned into a price by being told the job was tough, required and expert, and would take all day if not two. What I got was a handy man in a pick up truck who did not have the proper equipment to fix the job and was by no means an expert in the field. Me or anyone I know will never hire them again, you just as easily could get a handyman and the job would be much much cheaper. As a matter of fact what I got was a handyman who claimed to be an expert to get the price higher. I paid for an expert but got much less. They are the perfect example of the saying " a jack of all trades a master of none".

Ryan replied the same night and they were able to squeeze me into their schedule for the week. They called ahead as promised and arrived right on time. This is a WARNING you should heed: "Save yourself money,…read moretime and aggravation by avoid doing business with Sir Grout". We had some sealing issues and called Sir Grout to look at it. After inspecting it, a rep from Sir Grout said our previous sealing company used the "wrong material" and that he (SG) used the BEST sealing material. So, we hired SG to do two jobs; a kitchen island counter top and a pool deck. We weren't looking for a perfect job, we just wanted a good one...we did not get it! After SG finished the job, we were left with an UNCHANGED counter top and a pool deck that was worse! The pool deck was stained in many areas, water absorption in several areas and dangerous slippery areas. When we complained, SG did come back and attempted to correct these issues...they did not. They now, tried to blame the for the stain and the troubled areas. They said that the "minerals and the character of natural stone" created these issues...yet we didn't have these issues before they performed the work. Their rep had the gall to say that we had "unrealistic expectations"! Expecting good results is "unrealistic expectations"??!! When their rep left he said that he would have "corporate" call us. Weeks later, we had to contact them. In the interim, we had another company look at the work performed by Sir Grout. They stated unequivocally the application performed by Sir Grout had caused our issues. When SG did respond by email, it was very disappointing. The response was dismissive of us, the other company who inspected their work and of the outcome of their work. He (the SG corporate guy) his company did a good job, without ever having seen what was done. I sent an email telling him that he were here looking at the job done, he would absolutely not be able to look me in the eye and say that! We have had no further response from them. We are sure that when they respond to this review, they may attempt to portray us as disgruntled who expected too much...snd that they did a good job...just a bunch of B.S. We simply wanted a good job, didn't get one and now hope to prevent others from wasting their money. Don't let those posted positive reviews fool you! UPDATE (9/1/2026): This is a reply to Sir Grout. Now, Sir Grout finally met our expectations. We expected a B.S. reply and we got one! He (the owner) managed to "sprinkle" a truth into his reply..."came back to address the issue". Big deal, the issue was NOT corrected. AND should Sir Grout be applauded because they came back to inspect the issue? No, this was something that would naturally be expected of this company since they told us that they use the BEST material and the job would be really good. They were wrong on both counts. Look it's simple. You can believe Sir Grout's take on this matter or you can believe us. We have nothing to gain and are trying to save you your money. They're trying to gain business and take your money! We sincerely hope that you use another company for your needs and save yourself the aggravation.
