First, the good: If you're like us and want to test furniture before you buy it, this place offers the best inventory of reasonably priced couches, chairs, and sectionals in the Lacey/Olympia area. While you might not find the bargain-basement prices some second-hand stores occasionally offer, the furniture here appears to be in great shape and generally priced well below MSRP. Now, the bad: If you're buying clearance items, be absolutely certain about their condition before you finalize the purchase. We recently bought a 6-piece Abbyson Teagan leather sectional from this business. It was extremely comfortable and appeared to be in good condition. The price they listed seemed reasonable for a used model with some signs of wear and tear. Unfortunately, when we got it home, we discovered that the frame of one of the sectional pieces was snapped in half (see picture). While we understand that clearance items are sold as-is, this type of severe structural damage feels like something that should have been disclosed as it was clearly something the staff knew about. It was just our bad luck we didn't sit on the broken section of the couch when we were testing it in the store. Overall, this store has a good selection, and we would actually recommend it for anyone seeking good-quality used furniture. Just take extra care to inspect clearance items closely or ask specific questions about their condition before purchasing.

It's dreary and located behind the furniture area, but they don't care about signage, decor or anything, which is appropriate if stuff like that will add to the price of the inventory, but as mentioned, nothing is really cheaper than what you'd pay if you went to a non-discount retailer. The employees look miserable to be there and justifiably so, since I didn't see a customer who was happy to be there either.

We looked around and tried out beds for an hour and then said we would be back. We came back a few hours later after thinking about what we wanted for awhile. Shawn was patient and answered all the questions we had. We finally decided to purchase a mattress and an adjustable bed frame. The frame was on backorder, but Shawn was able to find us a better frame for just a little bit more. We were worried that it was close to closing but Shawn stayed late to make sure our order got in and we could get it as soon as possible. The next day we decided that we actually wanted to move one level up on the quality of the mattress. We returned to the store and Shawn greeted us with a smile, told us the pros and cons of the change, and then helped us get everything switched over. As Shawn spent a long time on the phone unveiling the mystery in that change and discovering several other changes in prices to accessories and other "work around" on costs, we could hear his surprise This was no performance for our benefit; he was truly confused and surprised. All the while we joked and laughed with Dwayne and learned more about the bed and things associated with it. After he got off of the phone, Shawn continued to work with numbers and by the time he finished he had better than matched the lowest price for that bed, then significantly discounted some accessories we wanted. After the sale, the delivery date was important and a rush was requested, monitored, and delivery occurred ahead of the requested date -a bonus. We were never pressured, told it would be be "better to do business here because," or any other high pressure sales tactic. it was always "this is what we have" and it's value, friendship, and help. The products are good to great quality (depending on how much you are willing to spend), and they sell no junk. The furniture has moved to two different locations, survived two boys, and is still as sturdy as the day I bought it. It has been configured as a bunk bed and separated into twin beds multiple times depending on what my boys wanted in their room. I always loved how even the top bunk kid got a headboard. Six years ago, I misplaced the dowels and bolts for the bunk bed configuration, so I stopped by the store to see if they knew what I needed. They still had the same bed available and were able to give me the hardware required to stack the beds again. The customer service isn't necessarily rude, just apathetic...or detached? But I got REAL furniture that has lasted for a decade at a reasonable price, and they helped me when I lost hardware, so I will recommend over and over again.
