I had no need to expand the table until 2 weeks ago when I had a large group of people over for dinner. My daughter and I tried to open the table and it wouldn't open more than a foot. When my guests arrived, I asked 2 men to open it and they couldn't either. I had to close it and have 3 of my guest sit at the kitchen counter since there was no room at the table. I called Harkness and they said it was out of warranty but would send someone over. They also couldn't open it but said it would be picked up in a few days and their warehouse would look at it. No one came to pick it up and when I called I was told they couldn't fix it and to call a furniture repairman. I find it frustrating that they would sell damaged goods and not do something about it. Apparently they don't check their products before selling them. Will be purchasing another table but not from them. I am done with Harkness.

The selection of fabrics to choose from could have been overwhelming, but based on our wants Mark directed us to a group of samples that were phenomenal. He educated us on which fabrics were most appropriate for high use chairs and we selected a fabric that was treated (with a scotch guarded type treatment), and would be extremely durable. I personally got the chair in 1996 and we were finally able to financially afford to have it done this year. With all that said I was quite nervous. I checked lots of local shops but Mark's knowledge of the older mechanism was the deciding factor. Final price was exactly what he quoted and the end result is perfect. It is a brand new old chair. This was a complicated chair and from top to bottom every stitch, tuck and fold is perfect. If you are looking for old school quality work that your willing to wait for go here. CS Floors was fantastic in helping me find the right laminate floors for my home! TJ came out and…read morewrote up the estimate and from there I spent a couple weeks taking home samples from their showroom to finally decide on the color and finish which I choose Karastan Cocoa walnut which is a really rich warm color that matched perfectly for my home! TJ was super professional and courteous and helped me on this huge investment for my home! Slovak was my installer and he was top notch attention to detail very professional and courteous and did a fantastic job installing the floor. The floor is super tight as in no squeaking when I walk on it as it's a floating floor. They helped me to avoid repainting my walls by suggesting using 1/4 inch plywood to help raise floors so when he reinstalled baseboards they were high enough to avoid full paint. I just had to do some touch-up in a couple areas. Super happy with the job they did! Also Slovak the installer did a great job on cleanup after each day of all the sawdust in my garage and driveway from cutting the floor pieces!
