He arrived when he said he would, spent a fair time seeing if he could repair the machine without me having to buy a replacement part, Eventually he had to replace the part and was back the next day with the part and the job was complete. Kieran is knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to do business with. He charges $60 for the call plus parts. I highly recommend him.

I phoned this company as I had used Mark in the past and he was unbelievably helpful and would even…read moretalk me through problems. So when I phoned the same number his son Jess said no problem, he was in the area and would come straight away. . So when he didnt arrive at the time designated, he phoned to say he had been delayed with another job. So he arrived another hour later. He announced that the problem could either be solved with silicon spray or else new hinges, but the new hinges would cost about $200 and there was no guarantee that the part of the oven they had to be attached to was not bent as well. This could have been explained to me over the phone, but Jess was too anxious to jump into his car to charge a service call. He asked if there was any other job he could assist me with!!!! (of course not) then I was charged $192.50 . His father built a great business but I doubt Jess will survive.

Not sure why KitchenAidrecommends Alpha, they don't offer an acceptable warranty time on their…read moreworkmanship. Brought my stand mixer in to have a part replaced only to have the same issue happen when I used it again just outside of the warranty period. It should function well under normal use for a lot longer or offer the part to be replaced for free. This company is clearly not interested in customer satisfaction as many have noted. I'm going to go to Leichhardt (another recommendation from KitchenAid) to have it fixed once and for all.

He was here for a total of 5 minutes, found the model number - which I could have relayed over the phone had I known where to look, and then he left. I then received a phone call to tell me the oven glass was no longer available. We have had to buy a new oven from another company and I am out of pocket the cost of a new oven and the $155.00 it cost to have someone come to our home and find the model number. I understand businesses need to make money but in this case, as I told Alpha Appliances I was quite happy to pay $55.00 but would think I may be entitled to a reasonable refund given the outcome. When I put my case to Alpha Appliance Repair I was told they would be happy to reimburse my credit card by $25.00.....not happy, not good business.

They did one job for me and quoted on another, which they most definitely won't be doing…read more Pros: * they responded quickly * they turned up on time * they did a good job Cons: * they are EXPENSIVE... on the second quote I worked out they were charging me the equivalent of $138 per hour * they give you a hard sell about their business and membership (who has membership to an electrician?) when all you want is a price * they try to make you pay up front before any work has been carried out (no thanks) * they gave me a quote that was incorrectly added up to the tune of $585 in their favour... and then argued about it when I said it sounded a bit steep (it was only later I discovered the maths was wrong) I won't use them again
