They do all types of hair cuts and stylings, including beards. The place is open and spacious, with three televisions and upbeat music. They never seem to have classic 1980s rock when I am there but perhaps that will change in the future. Covid makes it tough on small businesses but they keep people safe and spread apart during the whole process. Right now they are only by appointment, but scheduling one is easy. I wish them luck, and will continue to come here whenever I start to get a bit shaggy. Zoinks!

I work at the University of Albany and it was very, very convenient: ten minutes there despite lunch-hour rush on Western Ave. Service was fast, friendly, anonymous, non-chatty. The chat's there if you want it (there was a gentleman next to me who seemed to be a regular who was having a nice conversation with the barber) but with the TV going you can just zone out and let them get the job done. It's no appointment, drop-in, and it seems fairly popular. The clientele looks like other UAlbany folks, retirees, locals, etc. -- this is clearly a local establishment, much nicer than mall chains. Unless they shaved something into the back of my head I can't see, I have to say I'm highly satisfied -- I'll be back. *Very* reasonable prices, so make sure and tip well.
