I thought the entire time he was filing everything on time and that payments were being made and taken care of. After calling the IRS, I found out that 2021 was filed with the IRS but not with the FTB. 2020 and 2022 were never filed. I owe a ton of money, penalties, and interest charges. This is just for the business. On the personal side, it's a whole other story. He destroyed my business taxes, my father's business taxes, and my sister's taxes. Joel never responds to calls, texts, or emails, even though he is reading them. After we ended our relationship with him, our identities were stolen, which will also be investigated.
