The single biggest mistake I made in starting my small business was hiring Fastax for my…read moreaccounting. On one hand I hate to leave this review as I like him as a person, but the errors they made were so egregious that I would've gotten in serious trouble with the IRS had it not been for my new accountant who caught them and remedied them. They also made mistakes constantly to payroll, filed my ERC past the deadline so I did not receive anything, and they never followed up despite repeated inquiries from me. And if anything happens, even if it is due to their mistakes, they essentially told me that I was on my own, and I had to to fix the issue myself. In addition, there have been many instances where it has been difficult for us to get timely responses from Fastax despite repeated calls, voicemails, and emails. I agree with prior posts that they neglect smaller clients and focus on bigger ones. So if you are a bigger client, you will probably be okay. But even then, please keep a very close eye and double check their work as they will likely make mistakes - even serious ones - if you don't. If you believe in fairness, or just want peace of mind, I would not recommend them.
