The extracurriculars like science and music, the established curriculum, and the visiting community members, from fire fighters to scientists keep learning fun and relatable. It's a good group of families, a diverse student population and reminds you of a traditional family school. We currently have three children enrolled and made a significant financial investment to do so, but I can tell you I never worry about my children's safety, if they are actively engaged in learning, and if their needs are going to met. There's no screen time or babysitting happening at West Parish. There are rich opportunities for learning, building social emotional skills and developing relationships at West Parish everyday! It's also convenient and right off the highway. If I had to share something negative, so you know this review is real, it would be that it would be nice if there was a covered walkway to the door from the parking lot because getting three kids and three backpacks out in the rain is no fun, though there's always someone willing to lend a helping hand.

The teachers clearly care about each individual child--not only in school but in their home life. When I had asked if there were any books the school recommended for children with a family member going through deployment, they researched and sent me many different options to help with my child's emotional well being. Although we were not able to enter the building to send our daughter off, they made it feel as though we could with their awesome report app that they use to send you updates and pictures of your child throughout the day. Through the last few years we have grown to know and love the teachers at Cadence. When we had our second child, we started him in daycare even sooner than we did our first because we had that trust in Cadence. Events like parents nights, pajama parties, and arts and crafts parties offer even more opportunities for both education and social interaction. The teachers are thoughtful and truly encourage every child's independent thought, problem solving, socialization, and unique perspectives. The school is run effective and efficiently, with regular communications via email and 2x/year progress reports. Watching the teachers with each student is really inspiring- they treat every child with respect and kindness. We already have our next kid on the waitlist for when they can attend, and would recommend Little Learners to anyone.
