The members are all very nice, and welcoming as well as the pastor, and his wife. They are a very small congregation with only 9 members. So if you believe in God live in the area, and don't have a church I pray you will consider going here. They read from the King James Bible, and sing the old hyms.

The service I attended included a children's program which was really sweet! I don't recall an organ; however, they did have a piano in the back. This is not a high church, meaning, no use of incense, no elaborate altar, robust choir, ringing bells punctuating high points of the service, or sterling silver chalice, etc., for the Sacraments. And that's a good thing, a "high church" is not for everyone; and a variety of church experiences is really refreshing! Although I was an out-of-town visitor, the parish and those in attendance were friendly. I'm grateful for The Episcopal Church's Book of Common Prayer and consistent liturgy. What this means, is, you can visit an Episcopal Chruch anywhere [likely in the entire world] on any given day and know precisely what to expect. Thank you, St. Christopher's, for welcoming, this visitor to your church home to celebrate Christmas!

This church has nice stained glass, wooden carvings of the 10 stations mounted on the columns inside. The nation of India was heavy on our minds during mass intentions, which is where Father Michael is from. We heard that an entire nunnery was wiped out by Covid. All 14 sisters perished. The country doesn't have the ability to report numbers accurately, and the cases of the dead are probably much higher than reported. There is also a gift shop inside to purchase various items, crucifixes, Devine figurines, etc. The community bulletin is well organized with lot of activities planned for every age and gender from Java and Jesus to Outdoor Excursions.

Father Eric is a very kind and well spoken priest. He gives excellent direction and a well practiced homily. Today was the first funeral mass held in person after the restrictions were lifted. Father gave a wonderful speech and celebrated my grandfather so well. Each pew is separated and there are specific instructions for communion and exiting. Extra hand sanitizer at the entrance/exit. While it's a challenge during this time, this church and parish keeps the faith and reminds us there is something more. Recommend stopping by for a quick mass and loving parish.
