Dr. Glikman is, by far, the best dentist that I have ever seen. I have a history of terrible experiences at the dentist, and I was nervous to try yet another new dentist. Dr. Glikman patiently listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained the condition of my teeth. She made several recommendations but did not pressure me into making any immediate decisions. Dr. Ibrahim and Anna were very knowledgeable and gave a thorough dental exam. The technology and attention to detail was impressive. They gave kind advice on how to proceed with my dental care. Had to wait over a month to get an appt which is fine. Then they had to cancel my appt and reschedule for the following week. Almost 2 month wait to get my teeth cleaned. The office is old and the equipment is outdated. From the start with the whole checkin, temp check and covid form to fill out was enough for me to walk out the door. The hygienist did my xrays, took a ton of pics then told me I needed a deep cleaning along with having a couple cavities. They then sent in the front desk lady trying to sell me a $1200 cleaning when I had a groupon for a regular cleaning. I came in to get my cleaning not spend $1200 I don't have. The hygienist was extremely pushy to the point it made me uncomfortable. First she said she would clean my teeth, then said there's no point as my teeth are too dirty so I should schedule the deep cleaning right now. Keep changing her story trying to push the deep cleaning and get out of cleaning my teeth. I had to demand to have my teeth cleaned. She ended up doing the cleaning but not properly. I'd even say it was the worst cleaning I ever had. She didn't really clean my teeth, she tried to manipulate me into thinking she did. She spent around 3mins on the entire cleaning. She used an ultrasonic scaler only a small portion of my teeth that lasted less than 2 mins. NEVER used a dental pick. The polishing was so fast it was a waste of time. NEVER flossed my teeth. So all in all I feel ripped off, had my time wasted, on top of trying to be taken advantage of as I never got what I paid for. read more

I had a very disheartening experience at this dental office. I had started a new job and this was my first dental appointment after Covid hit. First, the clinic is right next to a 7-11, which didn't bode well for me. The receptionist was really wonderful and friendly. I was ushered in for the usual x-rays, etc... Then, when the dentist came in, she proceeded to ask me if anyone had talked to me about braces (as well as other things that escape me now) ALL before she had even looked in my mouth! I hadn't even sat down, for God's sake. I was still standing! This immediately rubbed me the wrong way. It told me that this place cares more about pushing products/work on their patients, than they actually care about any kind of bedside manner or (gasp!) care about their actual patients. My cleaning and cavity filling procedure went swimmingly enough, but the dentist continued to tell me what a horrid state my mouth was in and how I was going to need some extensive gum work afterwards, that required not one, but several sessions. After my fillings were done, she showed me my x-rays, explaining the work I needed in more detail. I, meekly, asked... what is the range of what this will all cost me? I am getting pretty anxious at this point. She said the receptionist will give me the breakdown. When I got the breakdown, it ended up being almost $10,000! I was floored! My dental appointments for the last 10 years, pre-Covid, had all been cavity-free, and now I needed $10K worth of dental work! To add onto that unsettling experience, my bill was $600+ because of this and that. I don't know about you, but when faced with all kinds of medical/dental procedure terms that are a foreign language to me, I tend to freeze up and just accept what I'm told as is. I know I should have asked more questions, in hindsight. But this whole insurance thing is a labyrinth to me, most times. I don't always know what my insurance is supposed to pay for and what I'm supposed to pay for. In short, I paid the bill. I knew I never wanted to go back there and entrust my dental health with them. I didn't trust them. So, six months later, I went back to my old dentist, the one I had gone to for 10 years. It's a farther drive, but I figured, at least I trust them. I had them do all the x-rays from scratch and proceeded to have my cleaning and check up. The result? No cavities. I kept asking the hygienist, "Does my mouth look okay?" Then, when the dentist came in, I asked him the same thing, TWICE. He asked me why I kept asking. He said everything looks to be okay. My gum line was receding a little, but aside from that, he didn't have any other concerns. So, I am glad I trusted my instincts about this place. I'm sure they perform just fine dental work... but the hard sell is just a little too HARD and aggressive for me at this practice. read more

I got a cleaning in May of 2023. I have a few cavities but generally pretty good oral health. They left me waiting in the chair for 45 minutes before anyone came in. I was shocked when she told me I suddenly had 7 cavities- even went so far as to show me photos of the "cavities". Even to an untrained eye they all looked like very tiny indentations, grooves, or light tea/coffee stains. I told her I wanted a second opinion before I got them all filled. Second opinion told me I have ZERO cavities and my teeth looked good. Judging from the other reviews this is not an uncommon experience and it seems like they have seriously questionable practices and don't believe in minimally invasive dentistry. Cut to a year after this appointment, they randomly charge $35 to my card out of the blue, no bill or statement. Thankfully the receptionist refunded me but still sketchy. 0 stars to the dentist, 5 stars to the receptionist. read more

Beware to there policy. It was my first time to try this clinic since its close to my apartment. The service was ehhh not bad not good. Thats why we decided to come back to our old clinic and not showing to the next appointment. Surprisingly You have to pay 50 for not showing up. Its ridiculous. I am disgusted with this practice. I initially saw the reviews, and thought that this would be a great dentist to go to for oral care. During my initial visit I was told that nearly every single tooth on each side of my mouth (molars) would need to be filled, and two of my molars would need crowns at 25 years old. I have consistently been to the dentist every 6 months for cleanings, and have never had more than 1 cavity at a time. As confused as I was, I trusted the dentist as she was kind and caring, and I thought she had my best interest in mind. After being quoted 800$ with insurance, government insurance might I add, for one side - I proceeded, thinking that I truly needed the work. I was in pain, swollen for days, and really frustrated that I needed so much done at my age. I decided to get a second opinon from my family dentist in Pennsylvania to be sure this was necessary before paying nearly 1600$ on the left side. They were in shock and in tears. They could not believe that someone who claimed to be a dental professional would take such advantage of someone. They completely took advantage and assumed I had the money to pay for a brand new mouth. I will be cancelling my further appointment for my FAKE cavities and crown, and will NEVER recommend this dentist to anyone in the DMV area. Save your money and your mouth. This practice puts money above their patients. So disgusting and I'm sick I ever gave them my money. read more

The good: easy to get an appointment, fair pricing, clean, Dr. Gilkman did the cleaning herself, and they don't push unnecessary products.. The Bad: The dentist seemed to busy to explain anything to me. I issues that I developed in less than nine months. The dentist didn't tell me where, why they happened or how to prevent further instances of this. I had questions about the sealant that I need on a tooth. I had to ask the receptionist who had to act as a go between. The REALLY BAD: I had questions about the whitening process and asked to speak with the dentist after my appointment. Instead the receptionist brought me dental hygienist. The dental hygienist was completely unknowledgable about the product and couldn't tell me on average how white my teeth would get. I asked if there was information because I couldn't find a website for Venus white but I can find a website for Zoom and Kor whitening. The dental hygienist also had no idea about Kor whitening, one of the biggest competitor products on the market. Neither of them brought out the dentist to help manage my expectations regarding the whitening. The hygienist could only repeat that Venus white has the same amount of bleach as zoom, which wasn't particularly helpful. I don't get to not pay if the whitening doesn't do what I want. The dentist should be helping me evaluate whether Venus white is for me and managing my expectations, considering whitening is not covered by insurance and is paid for out of pocket. I've had two people tell me to cancel my remaining appointments and find another dentist after hearing the story. read more

I was told I needed a deep cleaning when I was having a wisdom tooth removed . They said they could only do the opposite side of the wisdom tooth I had extracted at the time . This was in 2020. I didn't like the pushy salesman approach , I just wanted the cleaning my insurance covered . So I went to another dentist . They advised I didn't need a deep cleaning and why do only one side and do the other later . It Should have all been done before or after the extraction . Fast forward a year later I get a bill saying my insurance didn't cover the full deep cleaning and my account is going into collections if I don't pay . I had never received a bill. read more

I love this dentist!!!! Dr. Glikman is great!! She's honest, nice and knowledgeable. She did awesome work, answered every question I had thoroughly and didn't judge. Her and the office in general totally restored my faith in dentists!!! I hadn't gone in a while because I had a bad experience with one in the area. Dr. Glikman was perfect!! The honesty and ability to answer all my questions were the best part. The fact that she did great work on my crown and cavities were icing on the cake. The staff is so great as well. The prices are really good and they have modern equipment as well. It's a very nice setting. I think they're the best kept secret as far as dentists go. I can't complain about a single thing. Plus they're office didn't have that dentist smell either! My wife and I go here and my son will soon too once he's old enough. read more

Dr. Berrada is wonderful. Her work has been very detailed and so great. I feel like she listens and really cares about patients. I was impressed that she did the cleaning for me herself while a lot of dentists just came to check the work at the end. There was no hard sale while I was thinking about doing Invisalign.
