We stayed at this Fairfield in Rolla and had such a nice stay. (Our previous stay was in the Holiday Inn Express a few doors down- meh). For one, the location was awesome. Right off the highway and near our relative's house. The hotel itself was new and modern. Love the decor. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a king bed and a pullout sofa. Having 2 TVs was nice to let the kids watch one and we had the other. Bed was comfy and shower was always hot. As for amenities, we used the fitness room daily. There was plenty of cardio equipment and my husband used the free weights. We planned to let the kids use the indoor pool but never got around to it. As for the breakfast, it is good. There is always some kind of eggs and meat (since we eat low carb, this is clutch.) There are also other options like homemade waffles, various breads, bagels, pastries, muffins, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal. One day they had cheese omelets but they were out. I asked a worker and they not only replenished them, she brought one over to me so I didn't have to get up. (So nice.) The workers here were all wonderful. Every single one of them were friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to stay here next time we're in town! read more

This brand new hotel is bright and beautiful. We enjoyed chatting with Dana who checked us in and we told her all about our delicious dinner at Randy's roadkill BBQ. We got our Marriott bag of treats including a chocolate, bottled water and a popcorn snack. Dinner told us where the pool was. Let us know about the hours, and we enjoyed watching Toy story three on the large beautiful television in the lobby. The pool is magnificent: not too cold not too hot and the perfect size to swim around and have fun, but not gigantic and cumbersome to move around in. We stayed in the pool for a long time, swimming and chatting and having a ball. The next morning breakfast was from 630 until nine. There we met the wonderful Connie and Julia and eight are delicious. Very impressive breakfast. I don't even like cheese, but I couldn't say no to the jalapeño three cheese scones. It was amazing. We loved the two different kinds of sausage oranges bananas make your own waffles. Either large or four minis eggs muffins oatmeal the list goes on and on. I'm not a coffee person, but I had quite the impressive coffee bar that had people coming back multiple times. Also at breakfast, I was able to watch Tanya talk to what appeared to be someone who's there quite often catching up like old friends do. Service at the front desk was the opposite of accommodating. Dana was rude and unhelpful. The lobby smelled like humid socks. I had a reservation and checked in at 11pm. My wife's account doesn't have my name attached and they refused to check me in without a phone call to corporate and left me stranded since corporate wouldn't answer the phone at 11pm. Holiday Inn 2 blocks away is a far better choice! read more

I have been traveling through Rolla once a month this year. I decided to explore a different place for my overnight accommodations this most recent visit. I checked in around 9:30 pm. The night desk clerk was helpful and professional. Although, he could not provide me with a good breakfast recommendation. I guess most folks take the complimentary breakfast option ‍ I reserved a king room. My accommodations were clean and comfortable. The sleeping area was cozy, with a comfortable work area. They offer a small space with microwave, fridge, and coffee. It's enough to provide some comforts of home. My main focus when I review a hotel are the bed and the bathroom. This bed was a little bit of a let down. While the mattress was firm, the pillows sunk in and I required at least two to be comfortable. The linens also had pills. I kept thinking I had crumbs in my bed. The bathroom definitely made up for the sleeping situation. The bathroom is beautifully decorated, is clean and comfortable. The sink and toilet are not on top of each other. The best part of my stay had to be the shower!!! The shower is spacious (enough for two if you want). There is a small ledge for toiletries or a step for shaving your legs. The water pressure is what made this experience for me. The shower head had six settings I think. The pressure was just the right amount. And the water was steaming hot. The towels were thick and fluffy. While I did not partake in breakfast, I did stop by to see what was offered. The seating area is comfortable with small and larger tables to accommodate guests. The food included eggs, protein, waffles, fruit etc. Definitely something for everyone to get your day off to a good start. Definitely a good place to stay. I will be back in a few weeks! read more

I must say this is the nicest hotel we have stayed at in a long time. The layout of the room and hallways was perfect to cut down on noise and light. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was great and the water was actually hot. Everything was so clean; not sure if it's a new property, recently remodeled or just well taken care of but it was nice! Breakfast was the normal fair but was well stocked. Honestly the only complaint was the noise from the interstate but just request a room on the backside and you should be fine. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back thru the area. read more

This hotel is very new and amazing. This is one of the nicest hotels in this price range that I have stayed in for along time. I would 110% recommend staying here and would do so again the next time traveling through. We stayed here while visiting Saint James Winery and enjoying a little site seeing. Wow! Wow! Wow! If you need to stay somewhere in the area, this is the place! Modern, exceptionally well designed and decorated, great staff, wonderful bed and an excellent breakfast! The cost was really cheap for this hotel! Easy to find, and far enough from the main highway to where you are away from the noise, but in the middle of all else! The lobby will make you drop your lower jaw, so hold on to it before you get out of your car! Walking into the room made me feel I was in a much more expensive hotel. All was clean, maintained and well organized. I almost wanted to stay longer even though we were just passing through. The buffet breakfast the next day had everything! My husband and I picked Fairfield in Rolla after our wedding day. We are marijuana smokers. We are 34m and 31f. It was our 14th anniversary and we decided to get married. We spent the night at Fairfield due to the reviews being great and everything. We get there and it is nice. It is comfortable. We check in we go upstairs and we get settled in then roll a cigarillo. We go down to our vehicle and smoke in the vehicle then we go upstairs to our room. The front desk individual Elijah was fine. I had to call and get another set of towels and he had me come down and pick them up. We had another smoke session in the car and on our way back in we picked up the towels. We did use the desk in the room to roll up we also emptied the tobacco into the trash can However we not one time took a lighter and lit up in the room we went out to the vehicle. It was strong marijuana so it did leave an odor. They are now charging us $250.00 stating that we smoked in the room which we did not read more

This place still looks and even smells brand new. It's right off I-44 and everything is new and modern. The TV with Netflix. The alarm clock even has a USB-C port. Brand new fitness equipment, too. The exterior is well lit so there aren't any sketchy areas of the parking lot. Breakfast was exactly what you expect from a hotel breakfast buffet and they don't shut it down early. They took our reservation at 10pm the night we were driving in. Arrived to a nice cooled room. Room was very clean & well stocked. The only down turn, my queen bed was ok, but needs to be replaced. The side I slept on was not grossly uncomfortable but you could tell many people had slept on it. I slept well regardless! The free breakfast was fresh with many, many choices of food & beverages. The ladies working the breakfast area were constantly replacing anything missing & updating the food/beverages. Staff was pleasant & professional. I would definitely stay there again! read more

This is a really nice and new hotel in the Rolla area. The amenities are great and the staff is extremely nice! I docked a star because the bed was horrible and I didn't sleep well. I also didn't appreciate the knock at the door at 8:30 am by housekeeping as I was trying to get ready for a 10 am graduation. The Hotel is newer, very clean and nice. The only issue I had was with confusion over booking the room in person. I've stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels (6 this past year) and always ask for and receive my military discount without issue. While traveling for a funeral, I stopped in at this hotel but they couldn't find the discount and told me to go online and try to book it myself. After several failed attempts with the Marriot app crashing, they told me to just check with the manager in the morning. The next day, the manager told me that this hotel doesn't offer the discount anymore because military people sometimes take advantage of the rate. I was a little taken back by this comment and felt it was a little rude. I informed her that I wasn't asking for the official government travel rate, only the regular military discount, that I always use at Marriott hotels while on leisure travel. read more

We were going to stay at one of the hotels on the other side of the highway, but changed our minds when we saw how well lit the Fairfield Inn was. The parking lot is super bright at night and there are lots of security cameras on the lot. Room was large, clean, and well-designed. There are USB outlets at each nightstand and we had two TVs in our room - one in front of the bed on one wall and one in front of the couch in the sitting area in the other half of the room on the opposite wall. There is a security bracket mounted on the wall next to our room door that flips open to prevent the door from being forced open by someone in the hallway. Shower was great and included nice shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted on the wall. There was also a small coffee counter and a mini fridge. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast with a waffle maker, bagels, English muffins, plain sliced bread, biscuits and gravy, eggs, turkey sausage, cereal, bananas, mandarin oranges, juices, jellies, and peanut butter. All the employees we interacted with were super nice and very helpful. If we pass through here again, we would definitely stay here. read more
