This was a nice stop on our recent road trip. The hotel was very clean and reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. We were very pleased with our experience at this property. We arrived last Friday afternoon and it was not very busy at the time. Our room was ready upon arrival and upon entering the room and checking out things, we were happy with the condition and space of our 2 Queen bed Studio room. The room had a little "living room" by the window with a 2nd TV, sofa, and desk with chair. The bathroom was very clean, bright, and adequately spacious. We were able to get to breakfast just as it was beginning and the selection and quality of what was available was good. The staff were very friendly at check-in and anytime we encountered them as we were leaving or returning to the hotel. The location was great - very close to I-40 as well as shopping, eateries, gas stations, etc. Our beds were comfy, and considering the location, we found our room to be very quiet and well insulated from noise from the major road just outside of the property. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we are back in the area. It's among the best hotel properties we have stayed at within this class/category of properties. read more

My original review was honestly going to be 4 or 5 stars until my 2nd night. While I don't care to be roomed in the main floor, my original room didn't smell fresh or clean. It also had mystery wall stains, that honestly looked like splattered blood. There was also a dead bug in the corner of the bathroom. All of these things made me super paranoid and so I checked everything to ensure there were no bugs, stains, hairs, dirty shit etc. While I enjoyed the water pressure in the shower, you will freeze while turning the water on, as you can't pivot the head. Also, the toilets are ridiculously low, so for a tall person such as myself, it was annoying to literally stoop down. First night was fine. It's noisier because you're at ground level, so you deal with noises, voices, lights, cars etc. My second night is when everything went to hell in a hand basket. I woke up around 4 AM to pee, and my feet hurt, so I after I was done, I grabbed my foot cream, intending to sit on my bed and slather some relief on them prior to getting back to sleep. When I pulled my covers further down, I saw a fat, reddish brown bug and as it tried to run away, I grabbed a wet wipe and tried to squish it. That thing wouldn't die, so I kept going until it literally burst. All that remained was its shell. Now, I'm no dummy, so my logical brain knew it was a bed bug. My emotional brain was trying to find other, less catastrophic alternatives. I went online to compare...my emotional brain lost. I began to panic, and started to super inspect the bed but only found the one. I went to the front desk by like 4:21 AM, and told the night front desk guy. He got on his computer, murmured, "wow it's been years since we've had bed bugs" and moved me to the third floor. Now, I've never experienced this before. I was absolutely panicking because these little nightmares can live on paper, wood, clothing, etc. and where there is one, there are 200+, as one female can lay that many eggs. I packed everything and moved to the new room, following the CDC directions for how to deal with bed bugs. This room smelled strongly of deodorizer so I hoped it would be cleaner. After unloading everything in the bathroom, I checked every nook and cranny that I could. The chair was filled with old food in between the cushions. I checked the mattress, bedding, frame, furniture, etc. I took yet another shower. By this time it was almost 6 AM and I was deliriously sleepy so I tested for more bed bugs by turning off the lights, getting in bed for a few mins and then looking under the covers with a flashlight. After 15 mins of this shitty game, I passed out. The next day, I had to spend $10 to use the hotels laundry room so I could hot wash everything and dry it in the highest setting, bag everything and hope for the best. I went through the same crap the next night, but found no trace of bed bugs. I do have a linear bite set on my left foot. After I arrived home from the airport, I had to buy diatomaceous powder, put my shoes, my very expensive purse and my luggage inside a gigantic trash bag and seal with with the powder. It must stay sealed for at least a month. I also had to go and buy sticky traps to set around my home bed to check for any stragglers. Needless to say, my stay here has cost me more money than I had planned, strife, panic and who knows if my things will be damaged by this very necessary treatment. On top of all of this BS, I had to call and get clarification on why my credit card showed a surcharge of $68 compared to their receipt. They have a $20/day charge for "damages" that will eventually clear, but if you don't know this, you will also be very upset as you check your bank statements. After reviewing my stay through the email they sent, I received an email from the manager, letting me know that he would "talk to the cleaning team". Ok dude, unless you get some diatomaceous powder or a pest control dude, all the cleaning team can do, at best, is wipe the bloody stains off the wall. Like I said, I really wanted to give them a positive review, but bed bugs is completely unacceptable. read more

Terrible that I have to repost this review. Worst hotel and management experience ever. Why? Started with my wife and I being turned away after an 8 hour drive even though we had a reservation and had checked in at 5pm. Lifetime platinum status too. Issue was we were traveling with our registered service dog. I notified the hotel in advance by phone and using the hotel chat function. They said no problem. The GM, Melvin Wilson, had different plans as he flat out told me that there was no such thing as a service dog! Wtf! I told him I had her registration documents but he said that didn't matter. So, there we were, stranded, as he followed me to my room. Creepy. On top of it, after I notified Marriotts corporate ethics office GM Wilson offered an apology and some bonus points. Still waiting for the points and it's been over a week. Oh well, not surprised, as the GM clearly has some issues. Please consider other options. read more

We had a decent stay. Our room was by the elevators, but fortunately they and the people using them weren't noisy. We only heard sirens going to the nearby hospital once. The room was comfortable and--except for a cloth chair that has old stains and really needs to be replaced--clean. The area has many restaurants and a Target store. Very convenient for travelers. Well placed Mariott location in the Yukon area of Oklahoma City. We are Bonvoy Members so that directed us to this location. It seems like a newsih location. The rooms were nice, we had a suite for $95. That's a bargain. Two TV, a hot shower, great bedding. Very nice breakfast too. We did a Door Dash for dinner, which worked after a 525-mile drive. You may be able to do better and you can do much worse. We are fans of this brand. read more

Decided on this location after reading other reviews. What a perfect place to come and rest after our travel from Amarillo. It's right off interstate 40, next to a hospital. We were by the helipad and it never even bothered us. This hotel is clean, quiet, located near serveral restaurants and businesses.--Target, Hobby Lobby, Pet Store and others. Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. Water pressure is good. We were given a handicapped room--not sure why. Maybe our request for our AARP discount?? Walk in shower sure was quite convenient. Complimentary Breakfast was continental including waffles, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, cold cereal, fruit, juices and milk... plenty. Great hotel, conveniently located right off the highway. Service was incredibly friendly & had a wonderful stay here. The good: parking lot is well lit, room was clean, hot water never ran out & water pressure in the shower is fantastic! The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well here. Price is affordable & breakfast is included (although I did not eat here). The bad: nothing! Nothing a single complaint here. Our room was exceptionally clean and my wife is tough, she was impressed. Due to COVID there were plenty of rooms available at this fairly new hotel. There were so many vacancies in fact that the guy working the desk when I called to inquire about rates practically begged us to stay there. The room cost under one hundred bucks for the night, for a king sized bed. The room was very clean, and didn't show any undue signs of wear. The shower was a nice walk in, and the spray was nice and warm after a long days drive before heading out to grab a bite to eat at a nearby New Orleans food joint. If Cajun isn't your thing though don't worry about it as there are multiple restaurants with a mile or so to choose from. read more

We received excellent customer service from front desk staff. The young lady who welcomed us was kind, helpful and very efficient. The hotel is very clean and modern on the better location off the I-40. There are some eateries right next door to it that were delicious. All of us slept well as the beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. It was the perfect stop for us in our travels as we didn't want to stay in the middle of a big city. But I had the good fortune of being greeted by General Manager Melvin Wilson, talk about gracious hospitality! He called around until he found an accommodation for me. When he confirmed everything he let them know I was on my way. He then gave me detailed instruction on how to get there. Mr. Melvin Wilson demonstrated professionalism at its finest! As a female traveling solo, my first time in Oklahoma, just needed a good nights sleep in a nice hotel and I appreciated Mr. Wilson going the extra mile to assist me! and I look forward to booking at Fairfield Inn & Suites next time I'm pass through, and I'll be sure to make a reservation. Thank you again Mr. Wilson for your kindness, I know where to go for gracious hospitality, you are a credit to the hotel!!! I would not recommend this hotel for veterans or for anyone with a disability to stay here. The manager Holly is extremely rude to people with disabilities and goes out of her way to make them feel uncomfortable. I personally contacted Marriott and complained about her and another employee who feels he is her personal body guard. Marriott was happy to provide me with a bunch of points but did nothing regarding their poor attitude. Maybe if enough people who are veterans with disabilities refuse to stay at this hotel or those who support veterans with disabilities or complain about Holly's poor attitude things will change. read more

Was double charged for a one room, one night stay. Have called three times in order to have the matter addressed/resolved and have one of the charges reversed. During call one on a Wednesday evening was told it would be handled by the general manager and the credit should be seen the next day on Thursday. During call two the next day on Thursday evening was told the matter would be given priority and handled the next morning on Friday. During call three on Friday afternoon was told that the general manager was gone for the weekend and that the earliest the credit could be given was Monday. This is bad business. read more

I echo what Donn said below. Great stay. It's too bad, but completely understandable, that hotel amenities aren't available during Covid, but the $71/nt price for a relatively new, spotless room with fridge, m/w, huge TV with HBO GO made up for it. The best thing about Fairfield Inns is the super comfortable king mattresses with plenty of firm pillows. It's impossible to have a poor night's sleep here & since the walls are thick, I never hear my neighbors. This one has rooms that are super clean, quiet, safe, upscale location & there are plenty of stores/shops within walking distance, including Target. Hotel is also next door to a strip mall. Plenty of eateries to drive thru, as well... many stores are not allowing walk-ins this week, just curbside p/u or drive thru, when available. Only glitch was a non-working TV, but Holly from the front desk came down to fix it, then had to call her District Mngr for instructions when she couldn't. Someone apparently plugged the cable into the wrong outlet behind the TV. Minor glitch, but she was very professional & apologetic & easily fixed it. Definitely stay here. The good: 1. The hotel just opened in 2014 and still has that new hotel smell. 2. The room was very clean and everything was in working order. 3. The guy who worked at the front desk (I think his name was Jon), was very pleasant and made us feel welcome...You can tell he genuinely loves his job! He was very knowledgeable of the Yukon area and made several good recommendations on things to do/places to eat. 4. I know this is kind of cheezy, but the TV had a good HD picture and the aspect ratio wasn't out of whack (stretched vs. zoom, 16:9 vs. 4:3). The bad: 1. I don't see this as a bad thing, but I know some might find this location being in kind of a suburban neighborhood as a "long drive" rather being in the center of OKC...it's only about a 15 min drive to downtown. read more

This place is LEGIT! You want to stop and stay here if you're in Yukon/OK City area. Excellent customer service, beginning with Brennan's friendly and helpful check-in after 9pm yesterday. The room was big and clean and comfortable. Easy and convenient service center for printing docs. The lobby is bright and spotless. Big breakfast area and SO many options: coffee, eggs, sausage, fruit, toast, yogurt and YES Waffles!! Fresh fruit water too. Great price through my work and with AAA, but Brennan offered and found an even better rate. Plenty of parking and within walking distance of Target. I'm saving this place on my Favorites list and will stay here any time I'm back in OK. On our our road trip from CA to Dayton Ohio you randomly select exits to pull over and sleep and finding a nice hotel is the luck of the draw. Well this was my lucky night! This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It SMELLS SOOOOOOO GOOOOD! It's very clean is an understatement. I felt like I was the very first person to stay in the room ever. The entire hotel smells so good the lobby, the elevator the hallways and the rooms. The rooms were so spacious! It wasn't your standard double bed room. I had enough room to open my luggage and remain organized. I was not cramped at all. I was also able to do my laundry there and they provided complimentary Tide detergent and Bounce dryer sheets. The breakfast area was neat and clean and the eggs were delicious. The staff was great ! The only bad thing was that we only stayed one night. read more

The complimentary breakfast was incomparable. There were many options such as scrambled (&/or) hard-boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, three types of yogurt, REAL (not instant) oatmeal, and many other fruits, bagels, toast and beverages. I am always hesitant to give out 5 stars. I don't like to over-state places or give an inflated review. However, this hotel was just perfect (for the price range, mind you). It is BRAND NEW, which is good in that everything is in perfect condition, but could also mean staffing issues. I will definitely stay here again. The bed is soft, comfortable, with plenty of room to walk around it, and each side has a side table with lamp that has charging plug-ins. Lighting was just right. The air conditioner was central air (even into the bathroom!), so my room and bathroom both stayed a great temperature. The TV and desk area was large, but not overwhelming the room, and had plenty of space. The bathroom was large, had granite counters, lots of lighting, and a large walk-in shower. The shower had plenty of shelving for lots of products, and the water pressure and temperature were perfect and easy to control. The high-speed internet was fast enough I could stream if I wanted to, though not perfect. The staff members were all friendly and helpful and made me feel at home in the hotel. TWO itsy bitsy complaints, and I just couldn't knock off a star for these. 1) The ice machines on each floor is in the most inconvenient spot for most rooms. It's a brand new hotel - you could have built them next to the elevator to have them centrally located. 2) The upgrade for the internet was not working. I was never able to get the log-in screen to load, and I tried on multiple devices. I like having the upgraded internet speed for streaming. This was a lovely hotel stay, and I wish all the hotels I had to stay in for work travel were this nice. read more

We are so grateful to this hotel. We had an accident on interstate 40, and this hotel was closest to the hospital. We had no car for the weekend, but there are wonderful restaurants in walking distance as well as helpful stores. The Fairfield staff were all excellent, and the breakfast was super. Cleanest hotel Everrrrrrrr. & the breakfast from 6a-10a was 100% better than the Denny's I had yesterday morning . They WERE NOT EVEN stingy with the bacon or NOTHING. I had like 100 pieces of bacon lol & nobody even cared. (Clapping my hands) Brovoooo I love this hotel. I definitely would move in and live there forever & ever if it were allowed. I stayed here for two nights in June 2016. The hotel is new, nicely decorated, fairly quiet, and reasonably priced. Front desk staff were polite and friendly. I didn't partake, but it looked like they had a decent breakfast in the morning. Room wifi worked well. My room had a little bit of a mildew smell (Rm 212) but nothing I couldn't deal with. Nice sized walk-in shower. There are several restaurants/bars within walking distance, which is nice. The regional hospital is rightness door. Overall, if in the area, I'd stay here again. read more

I have a 2-Queen room. The room is spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean. I love the extra large counter space in the bathroom. Another big plus for me is there is a big power strip mounted on the wall above the desk. It is very convenient to charge my notebook, ipad, and phone all at the same time. Another detail I like is the space next to TV for me to set my luggage at just the right height. The furniture layout is definitely well thought out. I am looking forward to try out their breakfast in the morning. read more

Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this hotel! In the past 10 days my family (toddler, infant, husband and I) have spent 6 nights in hotels on our trip to the Midwest. After an exhausting trip and much hotel issues this place was one of the most welcome respites! There was a ton of space, perfect "zen" and decor. The facilities were above and beyond (a coffee pot with four whole cups and excellent coffee!) and the staff was absolutely commendable. I cannot name a bad thing about this hotel, only that we didn't get to stay even 24 hrs! The area is really nice too. Plenty to do and eat for such a small town. I live in Yukon, OK. Have never stayed in a hotel 1 mile away from home but unfortunately, disaster struck my home. State Farm made arrangements for me to stay at the Fairfield Inn. It's located right in front of the Yukon Hospital. Have been here 9 days. They have been so nice and did everything to make us comfortable. Good prices on the rooms, So quiet and peaceful here. Housekeeping keeps the hotel looking spotless. Desk staff are pleasant. Saw the evening desk clerk diplomatically handle a difficult situation. I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn read more
