It's easily accessible off of Center point Parkway and there is a parking lot available on the side as well as the front of the building. The inside still has the appearance of the former school but the space is well utilized to take on the day to day business of the city. I have attended a number of meetings/events at City Hall and I always enjoy them and learn so much!

After the meeting, the councilor for my school's district spoke to the students, along with the current Miss Alabama USA, Kennedy Whisenant, who was a graduate of my school's district spoke district. The councilor's chief of staff did an excellent job keeping the students engaged with the government bingo game and other activities that simulated problem solving skills. This was an excellent and informative field trip and I highly recommend this to other educators and parents.

When I went to the desk, I told them I had an appointment and they verified my name. They also looked at my documentation to make sure I had the right paperwork. I did so I was directed to seat in a chair and given a slip of pause with a number on it. I only waited about 5 minutes before my number was called. The gentleman helped me. For some reason, he couldn't get my passport to validate, but I had brought additional documentation just in case. I'm glad I did that. I highly suggest scheduling an appointment instead of walking in. I saw multiple turned away because they were full for the day in regards to walk-ins. If you have an appointment and your proper documentation, it should be an easy task.
