When I mentioned my concerns, the doctor assured me that once the braces were off everything would be fine. He then proceeded to file down my teeth, but it was the wrong side. When I got my braces off and teeth cleaned, I complained again that it was uneven. The dentist acted like they didn't see it until I had them look at the ex-ray. I made another appointment back to the orthodontist and tried to fix it but not really and they billed me for trying to fix what they messed up. I am not comfortable with referring them to anyone at this point.

I've always been about taking care of me until I didn't. Being my moms caregiver was extremely hard. She passed on July 9, 2025. Prior to that I had my own health issues and always tried to make my appointment but ended up canceling, missing or rescheduling because of my mom. My doctor for some years left and I ended up with a male doctor who I seen once maybe twice and then I get a letter saying I was basically fired and had to find not a new doctor but go to a whole new Ohio Health for care because I missed and canceled to many appointments. Between my health, my moms emergency calls every other day which was 1 hour away, I had to be there for her. Ohio Health Pickerington never asked about me and what I was going through. My original doctor would and even call to check up on me but she left and I had no notice. So the new team didn't know me and instead kicked me out. I'm still with Ohio Health but a different location. I'll soon be able to have my medications renewed. Its been 2 weeks and they gave me a month but during that time my mom passed and I just didn't remember the deadline to make other arrangements for a new doctor and location. I write this because I had no where else to express how hurt I was to be going through dealing with my mom and then being let go from a whole primary care program. This hurts more then my mom passing. Its was so unexpected and I never had the opportunity to talk and get back on track with caring for me. ​I love Ohio Health but try reaching out more to your patients when they are new. Then was told I missed my appointment by 4 minutes and the doctor couldn't see me today. They have a 10 minute late policy that wasn't told to me. I guess Dr. Shereen Farooq planned a first time counseling appointment to last less than 14 minutes total. Dr. Farooq was told all the circumstances of me being there early and didn't care. I prefer to have a doctor and her coworkers to have some kind of compassion and caring. I appreciate an efficient office, but they should have 4 minutes of flexibility to help someone. I want a doctor who expresses care and concern, not one who punishes patients for their establishment's error.

I made an appointment online then we headed that way. Both times we were early and both times upon check-in I was taken back to a room. We had a bit of a wait once in the room but nothing terrible. The NP/PA, Mary, saw me both times. She was very personable, asked questions, and discussed a diagnosis. She ordered a prescription that was sent to the pharmacy before I left. The FMC hospital ER is a joke!! All they want is your money and they don't care one bit about your…read morehealth or well being!!! They have no clue what they are doing, they misdiagnosis, refuse specific treatment requested since they didn't feel the symptoms were life threatening enough to worry about with the CT scans they did even though you can't really see gall stones with a CT scan, you would think they would know this. After being in the ER on 2 different occasions and waiting over 5 hours to be seen each time (and then having the ER attending physician tell me that yeah the drug seekers no the terminology to use to get seen first! What? Are you kidding me? Did you really just say that after I have been in tremendous pain waiting to be seen? How unprofessional and unacceptable), they still couldn't figure out I had a gall stones even when I begged them to perform an Ultrasound as I knew that was the problem, they still misdiagnosed me and sent me home. Only for me to have to end up having gall bladder surgery because you guessed it I had gall stones! I suffered for over 1 1/2 years with the problems because they couldn't do their job! I had specifically asked for an Ultrasound the last visit as I didn't want to have to pay my $6,650 deductible for a second year in a row and we were there on New Years Eve, so had they not made me wait 5 hours in the ER and had they done as I asked I would not have had to pay another $6,650 but of course they dragged their feet, said nothing was wrong and told me I had to have my personal doctor request the Ultrasound, which of course would be in the next year so my deductible would start over. Had they been smart enough to diagnosis me correctly when I had been there in Jan this all would not have been a problem, instead they just ordered test me done that were not necessary and then the doctor that performed those tests laughed at me when I asked him to schedule the ultrasound to check for gall stones. His answer was well if it's gall bladder when it presents itself you will know...guess what doc...it was presenting itself and you all were too ignorant to find it and to do as the patient asked you to do!! What kind of facility are you people running that you cater to the drug seekers and the rest of us suffer and you could care less that you are diagnosing incorrectly and turning away people with true medical issues. All you want is our hard earned money and you could care less about helping us. Then when calling to talk about my concerns with them after receiving the most ridiculous bill for surgery,again they couldn't even get all of the concerns listed in the review of the case. There is no communication between departments and again they don't give a darn about the people they only want our money for the crap service the give. If you live in the Pickerington, Ohio area, and need a doctor, cross your fingers that this doctor will accept new patients, because you will have the best doctor in the area.
