Very early on, I had issues with the people who lived above me. Lots of screaming, yelling, fighting at all hours of the day and night, it sounded as if someone was getting beat up!!. I called the emergency number after one of their screaming matches at 3 am, I was told to call 911. Seven months of this, until finally after about ten emails and four 911 calls it stopped. Every time I sent an email, it either went unanswered or I was told it would be forwarded to customer service. The one time I called maintenance, the man that called me back was beyond rude. I was having issues with my air conditioner in my bedroom, it kept turning off. He called to "explain" to me how an air conditioner works. When I tried to explain, that my living room air wasn't having this problem, he told me it was because I did not know how to work it.. as if this isn't bad enough, my rent renewal came this week, I expected an increase of maybe $100.00, that would be reasonable. It increased by $207.00. I couldn't believe it. I called the Main office because I thought they must have made a mistake. I was told this is what apartments on Long Island go for...and I had the option to move out! After I said I would not be renewing, I was offered a $30.00 discount as a courtesy.. It really is a shame because the complex has a lot to offer, the pool is small but nice and very well kept, the gym is top notch, the grounds are clean and maintained but a $207.00 increase is just unreasonable.

Thank God it was Daniela who my friend (an elderly lady with dementia, and a number of house…read morealterations outside of code) happened to contact when she decided to sell; I think there could've been an outright disaster otherwise. While I hold my friend's power of attorney, I'm a 71-year-old retiree in Maryland, never sold a house before, and am NOT 'handy'. But Daniela DID accept the challenges of the situation, and as a direct result the house sold nearly 20% above the already-high starting market price, and the proceeds will sustain my friend in senior care for the rest of her life. Daniela was patient and respectful of us throughout our slow process of preparing for sale (removing a tenant, finding senior care in Maryland, selecting what my friend would take there and moving her, emptying everything ELSE in the house, and getting repairs done that were needed to be ready for inspection), but everything she touched moved like lightning. We needed more communication and guidance than most, and she was flawless in this, and in everything from beginning to end, explaining at each stage what was coming, what needed to be done, and what our options were. She pointed out the benefit of an expediter -I'd never heard of 'em - to deal with the town about code violations, and recommended one rather than leaving it on me to find one. And that was the pattern throughout: she recommended good people for every task that came up, but accepted and worked hand-in-glove with whoever we chose. When needed, she was our advocate with each of the folks we worked with, helping ensure things were done as we wanted. I couldn't even be present to admit workmen or to check their work, living so far away, and she took this on for us - though it DID help that the house is about 5 minutes from her office. As a novice, I tended toward going overboard on discretionary improvements, but she restrained me to ones that would count bottom-line, and they returned about 5 times what we spent. Tradespeople may speak of 'being a partner' with their customer; the reality often falls short - but not with Daniela. After the house sold, she said: "I just take each project on as my responsibility, until it's completed." She is not only the most trustworthy businessperson I've met in my life, but also one of the finest human beings. Finally: Daniela did all this for us while helping other people buy and sell THEIR houses - and managing the realty office where she works. So if you work with one of 'her' realtors, I expect you'd be in great hands, too.

Everything is in a proper place starting with my right wall pantry with bottom 4 shelves upper shelves for can goods one cabinet nexted to that with 3 drawers top drawer is for utensils wooden, spoons, and spatulas second drawer is for pot holders dish towels etc. Third drawer my blender in and other stuff, stove and above 3 and one microwave. All my upper cabinets go almost to the ceiling for extra storage all things go up there that not needed for special occasions. Nexted to the store pots pans next to that lazy Sussie for more pots and pans sink deep one with a cutting board and vegetable rack for cleaning vegetables. Counter space from left of sink to food pantry. Built in refrigerator cabinet. Sliding glass doors with shades built into the double pane glass. Back wall the upper cabinets are glass doors for my good china I have 4 cabinets on either side of my hallway. Kitchen tab in middle of floor and then one island with 4 chairs. Totally of 45 cabinets 5 slabs of courts table tops. Donna makes kitchen excellent. All cabinets are hardwood and handmade to perfection.
