On his second day, after being there for an hour, I got a call to pick my son up because he was crying. The assistant said they checked him for fever and that he was fine but then went on to say that they just didn't think he was a good fit for the program. She then proceeded to say that my application was cancelled and wanted to know if I wanted my payment back in cash or money order. No plan to work with him to help him transition, no concern for if there was an underlying issue, no nothing. Just come get your baby and don't bring him back because he is crying. I'm just so disappointed, hurt and offended at the idea that a 12 month old baby gets kicked out of daycare on his second day for crying for an hr. Especially when Zerghon herself told me how other kids in the program had hard transitions and ended up working out over time! I mean, isn't that a typical process for babies? What makes my baby different? I can't help but think there is other motivating factors at play here. My baby fell asleep in the car while we were driving home by the way.
