The reception building was beautifully lit with more than enough room and table and chairs to seat a wedding of 100+ people. And it was air conditioned!!! So that was a huge plus!! The bathroom in the reception area was huge and had a small loveseat in it for any mothers who may need to breast feed in private. But there was only 1 bathroom in the reception hall so that was a bummer. The only other thing that would've been nice but wasn't a huge deal was the outdoor seating area. Because it was 90-100 degrees there was no shade for anyone unless you grabbed the seats closest to the trees! But all in all beautiful place to hold an event!

Historically, the Music Hall hosted notable acts like Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys in the 1930s and 1940s. It underwent a revival from 1999 to 2002 but closed due to financial difficulties.
