The date didn't work for me, the next available was a week later. I got billed for that week without service. The associate at the store said nothing about a $50 setup fee. I can't call the store to complain, the number goes to a call center. They'll make a note of it and that's about it. Oh, and once your phone number is in their system, get ready to have 2-3 sales calls a day. Super frustrating when your existing service isn't even set up yet! Way to go spectrum, way to go!

Wells later they came out and installed the internet but instead of the 1gb internet speed they gave me the 100mb speed which is a tenth of what I signed a contract for. When we called they proceeded to tell us that that was the only service they had in that area and that we should've been told. When we started we would like to cancel because they broke their end of the deal they tried to force us to drive 45 minutes to bring the equipment back and told us they were going to keep the money that we game them for installation and activation. This is the biggest bait and switch I have ever dealt with and this company is a fraud. We told them over and over we only want the 1gb, nothing lower. They're next lowest option was 100mb which was almost $50 more than their competitor that they probably don't even know exists here yet, which is why they are so over charging and taking advantage of their customers. The customer service is childish and the woman and manner who took care of the call don't deserve the in they clearly don't want to be there. I am not the only person who has dealt with this, if anyone sees this bbb report before buying LCC or Tidewater Telcom(because they go by two different names) please, don't just take my word, Google research their reviews and they speak for themselves.
