Also, the check-in desk staff that I dealt with was very pleasant and professional. I like that she says that the MD is running a little late, but I will be seen. Doctors and support staff are rude. They laugh and make fun of patients. They are really that stupid to think nobody else is listening. MHealth Fairview as a whole is a joke. I could go on but why... I wish i lived closer to the Mayo Health System... read more

As no doctor can you tell you the exact reason that cause your sickness they do the best they can. I've seen both PA's now at this location, I trust both. Though I came in for a bacterial infection in my gums so I guess that was a dental issue but I went to my dentist yesterday and he didn't give me anything. I got antibiotics from this PA so I pray that will do the trick and cure the infection! read more

I went to this clinic on three separate occasions. On all three occasions, I was misdiagnosed. One diagnosis in fact, ended up causing an immediate emergency surgery later in the day, after a visit to this clinic earlier that morning. I have since switched to the Allina Shoreview Clinic and I have nothing but praise for their staff and the job they do. They go above and beyond every single time and I am so thankful for them. read more

I will never step foot in this clinic again- let alone any Fairview Clinic. My son had an appointment 2 weeks ago at 10:30am, we arrived 5 minutes early. After waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes I go to the front desk and they inform me that the appointment isn't until 11am and that they are just required to tell you it's a half hour earlier in case your late. Are you kidding me? So we end up waiting even longer in the waiting room- don't get called back to a room until about 11:10. So today my kids had back to back appointments that I scheduled for 9 & 9:30. I arrived 5 minutes early and was told Dr. Cole will only see one of my kids because I did not arrive 30 minuntes early. Are you kidding me? The front desk woman informed me that the Nurse is supposed to take us back to the room at 8:30 and we wait until 9 to see the doctor. Really???? Well last time I got there a half hour early I waited in the lobby the whole time!! This clinic is such a joke and really inconsistent. Ended up just leaving- will never return. Very rude front desk staff as well- they seem so miserable. read more

Went in for a simple strep throat test. Spent 55 minutes waiting for an available appointment (expected since I did not pre-schedule). Once I was in the office I spent another 15 minutes with the nurse getting my vitals and having a throat swab performed. Doctor arrived shortly after and we chatted for another 10 minutes. I thought everything was fine. I told them that I didn't want to bill my health insurance since they would not cover it and that I would like to pay upfront. They charged me $75 and told me I would receive an additional bill for the lab work. And I believed them. I have been billed the $75 at the clinic, $50 for the strep test and an additional $100 for additional charges from the clinic. In speaking with Fairview I have been informed that the original $75 is a sort of minimum that they take for people paying up front. All in all it cost me $225 to get a strep test and to speak with a Dr. for 10 minutes. (in hindsight a cheap flight to Mexico to buy antibiotics would have been comparable) My one star review is based purely on the billings (3 separate charges, 2 bills months apart) and does not represent the staff who I found to be quite pleasant. read more

Punished for Poverty. Working class..stay away. These folks only help their own. Requested a refill of a non pain med..Just to Breathe! Explained I had no way to get there..but... I was told ..No! You need to be seen..we need xrays etc.. what a racket! Guess they want you to just stay sick... Won't return. Health care is neither. read more

I went in when I was sick for a couple days but I thought I had pink eye. I had been late but they were very nice and made sure I could still get in for an appointment. During the time, my grandma was dying and the Doctor was very kind and helpful to me. I had been going to school for 17 credits and still working 40 hrs. a week at my serving job. The doctor gave me a note so that I could call in sick for work with the recommendation of getting some rest. I honestly do not know what I would have done during my difficult time if I did not go to the Hugo Fairview that day. They made sure I was okay both mentally and physically. Thank you! read more
