More than that, at first they refused to give me my results unless I have another appointment with the doctor. Then they changed their mind and I got my results, but the impression of the clinic was ruined already. So, I give three stars for that.

A call was never received. When I called again I was told that I had to come in, and on the third appointment having been told that they should not have given me the wrong prescription for the second time. I arrived, had to pay for an additional consultation fee. The woman working at reception told me that I was wrong, and that I could not have been given the wrong prescription twice. She would not let me pay the correct fee and charged me double. She was frankly quite rude and is the main reason that I will not be returning to this practice.

He told me it 'wasn't rocket science' and I could just google it and make contact with the organization myself. Upon doing this, I was told by the organization that I did in fact need a referral letter. In general, I found Dr. Killeen to be very unprofessional (slapped me on the shoulder), rude and patronizing. He made me very uncomfortable and I was glad to leave his office. At €69 a session, I would think carefully about visiting this man. I am now back to square one.

Absorbing the second floor of a building just off of Grafton Street's thoroughfare, the medical centre is divided into two areas: regular visits and patients travelling abroad. The rotating staff of very capable GPs are, while fast, working hard to treat you completely. My first visit was with Dr. Emer O'Reilly a great doctor with a brilliant personality. She advised me on my perscriptions, gave me a check up, then sat down to discuss my overall health and well being. Lovely! As for costs there are no bargains to be had, unfortunately. An average appointment will run you €60 -about the same as most Dublin doctors. But, for the money there is a fantastic resource here. I've made sure to recommend this place (and this doctor) to visiting and local friends who may be feeling under the weather and I'm delighted to do the same for you.

The Irish government has a website that lists test sites -- this one by far was the most convenient from my hotel in Dublin. I was able to book an appointment easily online, find the clinic quickly, get a test done very quickly and efficiently, and I had the results about 12 hours later. Absolutely no complaints and I'm grateful that they made a complicated process much easier.

Seriously about the prices - 15 euro for a flu jab can't be beat. If you're not in for other vaccinations as well, they add a 10-euro consultation fee. Along with travel vaccines, they also have two kinds of HPV vaccines, should you have a youngster who you want to protect. BF and I came in a month before an African visit and the doctor briskly walked us through the recommended vaccines and schedules for multi-visit jabs. She had charts and brochures to back her up and a cool vaccine-scheduling program on the computer, which also allowed her to put in our history so she can tell us when our old vaccinations will expire. The shots themselves, well, they hurt. There's no getting around that. But the vaccinators were friendly, and that helped ease the sting. In the reception area they sell handy packs of everything you could need to make your trip more comfortable, from super-strength mosquito repellent to super-absorbent towels. Though I didn't check, I'm sure the prices of these are half what you'd see in Boots. There are also one-page information sheets on a huge number of popular destinations, including what vaccinations to get, common illnesses and maladies, and how to treat them. A wealth of knowledge that doesn't dent your wealth! Last note, they have a 10% student discount.
