I am being denied medical care. Now if they do change their mind later, I am not sure I want to roll with this pain clinic. It has not been the happiest time in my life. My pain is not being treated. The NP just does not get me, and the MD's are under some kind of different mode of operation that I have never seen before. I have done nothing wrong, I have what I have and was sent to this department. Just disappointed, but will continue communication. And find different ways to get help for my problems.

I was treated so awfully at this pain clinic. She handed me a tissue and said there's nothing we could do for you beyond two invasive procedures which I had expressed the whole appointment I did not want to have. I had come for a second opinion not seeking any immediate treatment. Treated like a junkie when I didn't even ask for any pain medication, despicable practice. If you want to be humilated and prodded on a table, by someone who lost all empathy years ago then this is the right place to go.

I give my 5 star rating for everyone here except for the 1 doctor here who I did have a bad…read moreexperience with however it's because of him that I don't want everyone else here to be seen in the same light as people see him because it couldn't be further from the truth. My primary physician here is actually Nurse Practitioner Kristin Bleninger-Sundar. She's a wonderful caring woman who has been a blessing to me. She understands what chronic pain is (and what it's like to have to deal with it every day) better than others. She's knowledgeable about the many different options and procedures that can be tried to get you even more pain relief than you can ever hope for. Dr. Janiga is a ray of sunshine for the doctors here. He is kind, caring, and has an awesome bedside manner and really knows what he's doing but takes time to talk to you about what he's doing and make sure that you are both on the same page. Now, a doctor I leave nameless here, only as a courtesy, if you choose to go here you may or may not get along with but most patients (and staff) I talk to feel the same distain I have for him. He is rude, short (tempered), snotty, and deserves to be put in his place really, but will never change even if that were to occur. I'm sure you know the type. He has the bedside manner of a dead fish and the personality of a cold washcloth. If you have seen him then you know who I am talking about! If you have seen him and found yourself hating him, please give the other people here a chance to help you. Everyone else here is wonderful! Just come and give the chance to Kristin or Dr. Janiga and the rest of the staff and as long as you don't see the other doctor at all the rest of your care here should be pleasant

I use Mill City Clinic as my primary care clinic since 2020. I've been there perhaps 15-20 times…read moreover 6 years, for annual wellness check-ups, whenever I've had infections or minor problems of any sort, when I need a referral, etc. The usual run of issues that happen to an older (early-to-late 60s) person. I've never had a problem getting a quick appointment, getting help from the nursing staff, or other delays. No problems whatever with my visit summaries going immediately to MyChart. As they're associated with the UM doctors' network I know I'm getting great care and when referred, will also be receiving superior treatment (I've had colon surgery and a hernia operation through their referrals. Overall one of the best clinics I've experienced over might lifetime.

I have also had a ton of issues with them coding my visits wrong, so my insurance does not cover the appointment. Example: during my annual physical exam which is covered by my insurance 100%, however, the DOCTOR asked me additional questions regarding my overall health and because of that they didn't code this visit as an annual physical exam so it was not covered. They did the same thing with my annual Mammogram. They mis coded this visit so it was not covered 100%. They are only focused on making money and not on the patient care. It's actually unethical.
