Where do I start? My bf and I have been searching for a trust-worthy reputable pug breeder for almost two years now. We wanted a black pug due to sentimental reasons for me. Last year we found a private breeder (who will remain nameless for their privacy) and went through the process of contracts, down payments, etc, and long story short, it did not work out for us and we had to pull out of any business with them. Let's just say I am SO happy that we did because we never would have come across Danielle at Fairytale Frenchies (FF). Every so often I would check the AKC website to see if any new info was posted and if anyone had any new litters available. I came across FF in the spring/summer of this year and connected with Danielle to get some preliminary info. At the time, my bf and I were going on vacation and couldn't solidify everything until we returned. Although, Danielle told us she couldn't guarantee that the pups would be available when we returned if we didn't put a deposit, I decided to chance it and hope for the best. When we returned, all of her pugs were reserved from her new and last litter, but she had 2 puppies available. The color was different from what I initially wanted (she was silver/fawn), but the pictures had me sold! I fell in love with her and knew instantly that I wanted to bring her home to live with us. We had to set up a time to meet with Danielle to drop off the downpayment and meet the pup (after all, we wanted to meet in person to make sure she was a good fit- even though I had a great feeling about her). Within a few weeks, we put a downpayment and met our baby girl on her one month birthday. Danielle was kind enough to meet us close to home so we didn't have to drive too far for the initial meet-up. The weeks following, she sent pics of our pup, we kept in contact on updates (pup's health status, her growth, pick up date, etc). No matter how many questions I asked, Danielle was kind enough and made herself available to respond. The adoption process was seamless and there was absolutely no issue leading up to the pick-up date. My bf and I even needed an extra week after the scheduled pick-up date because our house was undergoing some renovations, and Danielle found a sitter for our baby (WOW, right?). The most exciting day of the year came and it was time for us to pick up our baby girl (she was 9 weeks old). That day had to be one of the happiest days of my life! We met Danielle and she stayed with us for a while and gave us so many helpful tips, and briefed us on the first few days of bringing our pup home (the transition, Dos and Donts, what the pup liked and didn't like, her health update and what to do next). She gave us a care package and we just talked for a bit about whatever questions we had, how exciting this would be, etc. We even made her our baby's godmother. I can't say enough how grateful we are that Danielle came into our lives. She gave us our best gift this year (I like to think of it as an early Christmas present). We've facetimed Danielle and sent her pics of our Charleigh (that's her name). I hope that this is a bond that we share with her for a lifetime. Danielle really goes above and beyond when it comes to finding homes for her puppies, and she is a wealth of information. I was skeptical of everything at first because I had never bought a puppy before through a breeder or owned a Frenchie. I did a LOT of research about Frenchie ownership beforehand and the health risks, etc. Danielle made me feel so comfortable and helped me navigate my anxieties and uncertainties. She really knows her stuff and took time out of her day (when she could have been with her kids) and spent a lot of time with me on the phone before we even met. Expectations were set up (price, etc) and very clear beforehand so I wasn't thrown any curveballs during the process. Also a breeder has a right to price their puppies how they want, if you can't justify Danielle's price, find another breeder or try the French Bulldog Rescue Network. (If you can't afford a puppy, your probably can't afford to own a dog, PERIOD. There's puppy classes, vet visits, shots, spay/neuter, health insurance, medications, dog walkers, travel fees, it adds up so you need to be prepared before you buy a puppy.) Danielle even helped me get set up with vitamins, health insurance, etc. for Java. Her entire family welcomed me into their home and made me feel so comfortable. She answered all my crazy questions with clarity and honesty. When I met my baby Java, I about died. She was the cutest little thing ever. I even got to meet her mom and dad, and her littermates. Danielle keeps all of her dogs in her house with her, NOT in kennels. They are really part of the family and she really cares about finding a good fit for her puppies. Her house was immaculate and had safest area set up for the puppies. When I walked out with the puppy and gave Danielle the final $payment, it wasn't "see you later". It was maintained contact, and a relationship developed where I could send updates and questions as Java was growing. Java is one year old now, and my vet (Abingdon Square) always talks about how she is extremely healthy. She hasn't had ANY of the major health concerns that I've worried about. You take that risk with any puppy but Danielle really does breed for good health. Java has had a little eye thing here, a little skin bump there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a puppy (I also bring her to puppy class and the park so it's just normal for dogs to pick up things in Manhattan). Not only is she healthy, but her temperament and personality are out of this world. She is the sweetest, most social, responsive, well behaved baby. I would recommend Danielle in a heartbeat for anyone looking for a solid breeder. If (maybe more like when) the time comes when I'm ready for a second Frenchie, Danielle will be my first (& only) call. read more

Danielle (and really, her family, too) - raise such wonderful, quality pups. I found Danielle on the AKC website in 2016 and had done a little of my own research on the pros/cons of Frenchie ownership. I emailed her, and she quickly made time for a call with me. It was genuinely like catching up with a friend, a friend who knew a TON about frenchies. I learned so much, and felt immediate trust in her experience raising these adorable companions. She was also as interested in me as I was in her - I loved that she wanted to make sure I'd be a good fit. In fact, she held my pup for a couple of weeks so that I could have my first visit - simultaneously turning down a deposit from another buyer to wait for my visit. And I'm so grateful she did. Upon my visit, my boyfriend and I melted over the little pup she placed in our hands. She gave us a little time alone but was also open to answer any questions/crate/food etc recommendations. She described how she sleeps on the couch next to the newborn puppies for weeks to make sure they're safe and healthy. She was upfront about pricing from our first conversation. And frankly, her pricing was incredibly reasonable given the couple of breeders I reached out to. She also gives an adorable welcome kit when you pick up your pup - a warm blanket to ride home with, toys, and a starter pack of food/vitamins. My little buddy is now a year old, and so incredibly fun, loving, and loyal. Frenchies typically have skin issues, allergies, etc. - so I've stayed vigilant for those. I'm happy to say that my boy has only had a couple skin bumps, that my vet prescribed some simple topical cream for - and they disappeared within days. From time to time he gets bored of his food.. but don't we all?! :) Overall, every time he sees the vet, his doctor is impressed by his structure and health. He is an absolutely top notch French bulldog. His coat is silky, he looks like a stocky little body builder, and (I'm bias, as his mommy) has the most adorable face. As a first time Frenchie owner, I was also relieved that Danielle was open to questions as he grew. Every once in a while, I still ask questions, and she's always happy to give advice. Fairytale Frenchies!! The name truly speaks for itself!! I was truly blessed and lucky to have found Danielle. I've been wanting a French bulldog for sometime now. I was just about to try to find a pet shop but my brother insisted on finding a breeder and as I said earlier, I was blessed to have found Danielle. From the minute we spoke I felt this incredible connection towards her, it's like I known her forever. I received such a great education about French bulldog's from her and also everything I need to do to raise my beautiful little eight week of age Luna. She is just the most wonderful little puppy and everyone who meets her falls in love with her! She's got a lovely disposition, she's friendly and cuddly. She is also remarkably easy to start training especially thanks to receiving her already house broken her from the time she was able to walk by Danielle. Luna is very clever and extremely smart. Many of my friends who've met Luna are now considering getting a French Bulldog as well because they are so enamored of her. She's added so much love and joy to my life. Secondly, not only did I get a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Danielle took her service 1 million times extra for me because I am disabled from an accident that happened four years ago and I was facing with a hard time to pick Luna up but thanks to Danielle being a great and wonderful person with a huge heart, she made arrangements for her wonderful and beautiful daughter Brianna to deliver Luna to me. Brianna drove three hours just to make sure I get Luna on the date that I was supposed to receive her. Now come on, how many breeders or anybody in the manner of speaking would go out of their way to do this? Especially the days and times we are all living now. Even after receiving Luna, there hasn't been a day that went by that Danielle and I haven't communicated. She's always advising me about caring for Luna and giving me great ideas on a daily basis. Again, people don't do this these days! This is how big Danielle's heart is!!! I recommend everyone to go to Fairytale Frenchy's to get a beautiful, healthy puppy. I don't normally write reviews but I would like to tell my story about my french bulldog. After months of nagging from my kids to get a dog, my husband and I knew it was the right time, so we did a lot of research. After countless searches online, my husband found, Fairytale Frenchies, (we narrowed down our decision to get a french bulldog). As a child, I had 2 dogs that we purchased from pet shops, both of the dogs had health issues. I told myself I would NEVER get a dog from a pet shop again. A reputable breeder is the only way to go when considering buying a dog. And Fairytale Frenchies is one of them! We contacted Danielle and she was very friendly and incredibly informative. She answered all our questions and happily asked if we wanted to come and see the available puppies. When we got there, it was clear that she truly loves her puppies and will only allow them to go to families that she believes are a suitable fit. Her home was very clean and all the pups looked healthy and happy. After falling in love with one of them, we decided right then and there that we needed to get her. Danielle was very helpful in the whole process. Even though we wanted to leave that day with our new puppy, we knew we couldn't because the puppy was not old enough and needed more shots. Danielle made sure the puppy was in good health and up to date with her shots before we were able to bring her home. We even recommended her to two of our friends, who also purchased puppies from her and they are both just as happy as we are! We found Danielle through the AKC website when we were doing research on finding a Pug puppy. She was very responsive to emails ans phone calls and we set up a date for us to see her litter of Pugs. When we arrived at her home i was very impressed with how seriously she took the health and safety of her dogs- we were asked to remove our shoes and wash and Purell our hands before entering. We were thrilled to be able to observe the very young litter and ask our many questions in an unrushed and relaxed environment. We chose a pup for our son and left a deposit. During the following weeks we received weekly text updates with pictures and video of our puppy. Danielle scheduled a "Going Home" day for us when the pups were 8 weeks old, and our excited son arrived with a list of questions for Danielle. She was very patient and kind with him and answered all his questions and guided him to meet his puppy for the first time. He was thrilled to meet the mother as well. She also gave us a puppy kit with his medical records, a supply of his food and vitamins, and a receiving blanket that his mom and litter mates had slept on for comfort as he transitioned to his new home. When we took him to the vet the next day he was given a clean bill of health. Our pup is 6 months old now and is a social, playful, beautiful, intelligient, easy-to-train joy. Our experience with Fairytale Frenchies (Danielle) has been amazing. We knew we wanted a Frenchie and Danielle came highly recommended to us from my husband's niece who had gotten her Frenchie from her 2 years before. As soon as I called Danielle, I felt like I had known her forever. She was so sweet and you could tell that she loved her puppies and wanted what was best for them. She explained that she currently had one little boy left and that he had just turned 8 weeks and was ready to go home. She then sent us pictures and we were so excited to come meet this little guy! My Boyfriend and I found Fairytale Frenchies through AKC's website. We wanted healthy and happy frenchies and Danielle has just that. We got our first pup Senna in a September litter of hers. When we went to see her for the first time her family welcomed us into their home. We were also welcomed by her multiple dogs roaming happily together. After bringing Senna into our home Danielle was happy to answer questions and give recommendations for shots,vitamins,spaying etc. I've never been more comfortable bringing a new animal into my home. Danielle had every answer for any concern that I had. We loved her so much and our new pup that we decided to get a playmate for Senna. We contacted Danielle again and brought Hamilton home from a March litter. Both of our dogs have had no health issues which is EXTREMELY RARE for French bulldogs. I recently adopted a frenchie from Danielle. I was apprehensive at first because I've heard horror stories about "puppy mills." This was not the case at Danielle's house. Her puppies have their own rooms! She treats them all like part of the family. I actually felt guilty taking my frenchie away from her friends. I had such a wonderful experience. For starters, Danielle knew EVERYTHING about the dog and even gave me her updated vaccination records. She answered every question I had- which foods to buy, when to get her next shots, how to cut her nails, etc. I have texted Danielle a couple of times since getting puppy and she responds in a timely manner and is very knowledgeable about bulldogs. I believe she has veterinary experience because she answers every question like a professional! As far as pricing, Danielle was upfront and honest about the cost. She accepted my payment through venmo, but I believe she is willing to work with you if you need to use another form of payment. My puppy came home already housebroken which has saved me so much time and energy. I am hoping to adopt from Danielle again so that my dog has a companion. We started looking for a pug puppy to add to our family and we're thrilled with our little cuddle bug Rico. We visited another breeder closer to home and walked away when we felt that the pups were not socialized well. After some more looking, we found Danielle. In this electronic age of emails, she wanted to speak to me over the phone to get a sense of whether we were a good fit for one of her pups, which goes to show she isn't interested in the money. When we arrived at her home to look at the young puppies, she had us take off shoes and wash our hands well, to be sure the pups stayed healthy. She let us visit and discuss pug care and management for probably an hour. At the end of the visit she went over the contract, we left our deposit and made the drive back home. We went back at the 8 week timeline and picked him up. He has excellent confirmation and coloring. In fact, after a poison mushroom/acorn eating incident and trauma veterinarian admission, one of the vets there told us that Rico was one of the best looking pugs he had ever seen and "would take him in a heartbeat." My husband and I wanted a pug for a long time and we did A TON of research to find the BEST breeder until someone recommended Danielle. We are so lucky we have found her, she is professional, she loves her babies and she cares so much for her dogs. Look no further, she is the best breeder. After looking for months for the perfect Pug puppy we found Danielle. Before driving 3 hours to meet her, I researched everything about her. I read every single review and was very impressed! We purchased our sweet baby girl, Gertie, from Fairytale Frenchies almost 5 months ago and she has been an amazing addition to our family. We adopted our Frenchie puppy "Winnie" 9 months ago from Fairytale Frenchies based on a strong recommendation from a customer of theirs in NYC. We contacted Danielle and she interviewed us as much as we interviewed her. She loves her dogs and wants to make sure they go to good homes. Danielle communicated very clearly about the cost of each dog and her payment schedule. Before Winnie was old enough to be adopted, Danielle sent us photos on a weekly basis and kept in contact. We drove from Maryland to NY to pick up Winnie and Danielle took a lot of time to make sure we knew how to care for her. Our Vet in Md gave Danielle very high marks for the level of care and vaccines that Winnie had at the time of adoption. We took Winnie for a check-up today and the vet was again impressed with her health and physical soundness. We have stayed in touch with Danielle on a regular basis. Absolutely obsessed with our puppy! We did a ton of research before choosing to go with Fairytale Frenchies. We saw some of her previous puppies and completely fell in love. Not only were they absolutely beautiful there health was impeccable. We reached out to Danielle and were told of an upcoming litter. Once the puppies were here we had weekly check ins pictures and videos of our fur baby. I had an amazing experience with Fairytale Frenchies! I met Danielle and her husband and 3 potential pups. Of course I fell in love with all 3! The pups were healthy and pre spoiled!!! Did I mention already potty trained? Danielle is very knowledgeable, caring and really puts a lot and time and effort into placing her pups into the right home. From my understanding, she has been breeding frenchies for the last 13-15 years. My pup came AKC certified and comes from a beautiful line of superior DNA. Fairytale Frenchies was the best breeder we had found!!! Completely professional. Danielle was constantly and confidently answering all our questions and very informative. From the very first phone call, our FaceTimes, meeting our new little fury baby and even when we were home after all settled in. Danielle and her family are wonderful! Simply put - they made my boyfriend and my dream come true with an amazing Frenchie. We had bad luck with another breeder (false pregnancy) so I found Danielle (Fairytale Frenchies) on the AKC website. Danielle was prompt with any questions I had about Lilly and always gave the impression she cared immensely about her babies.
