They get five stars because it is overall a wonderful church with a wonderful community. I do think that sometimes the messages are more geared towards a newer Christian crowd, but I love that they are reaching those groups of people.

The pastor spoke for 45 minutes and for 30 of those minutes he spoke about himself and how he didn't pray. I'm looking for an uplifting positive sermon and not about the pastor. I have never left a church service feeling so down and disillusioned. I will not set foot in that facility again. Also if they would take the money given and use it for good purposes instead of spending it on audio visual equipment the community would be better off. Maybe the pastor likes his face on a big screen. Don't go!

I have been coming to St Peter and Paul for around 5 years, but only recently joined as a…read moreparishioner. I wish I had joined earlier though. This parish has been so friendly and kind to my family and I. The parish staff is incredibly welcoming. The Fathers and Deacons are all very kind, welcoming and have many relatable and inspiring homilies and advice to share. I have taken the baptism class with Deacon Scott and it was a lot of fun. My partner and I went into thinking 'when will this be over we have things to do after' to being so engaged and inspired we didn't even look at our phones/watches the entire time and talked about it for weeks after! Father Thuerauf is very smart and well educated, his homilies as well as his confession thoughts and teachings are some of my favorites. I mean honestly, who else can talk about tithing or penance and you leave feeling lighter, inspired and called to act. The Deacons are also really great people - inspiring stories of their faiths and their involvement with the church. I really enjoy hearing from them and talking to them. Monsignor Emile is brand new but SO KIND and welcoming. I am so thrilled to have him at our parish and cannot wait to learn more from him. My infant twin daughters love Monsignor Emile as he blesses them and interacts with them every time he sees them. In years prior I was part of the Catholic Daughters (COVID and my recent pregnancy/newborns thwarted my involvement there) but I hope to get back into the other organizations that St Peter and Paul offer. I am so excited to see more clergymen join us also at the church. I am really excited and of course praying that our great church will become even more strong in faith and parishioners in the years to come.

I was immediately greeted by a sweet older man who told me where the entrance to the auditorium was. Pastor Conrad was welcoming and encouraged all guests to meet and greet with him. Uncle Jimmy (Pastor Jimmy Rollins) gave an amazing sermon on giving through the church and ended with a video on Red Rocks Church's many campuses now serving families with children with special needs/disabilities. It featured a video on a girl named Hattie. I was incredibly moved by what this church is doing and being an example of the hands and feet of Jesus. The sermon was on a screen and was live from another campus but I didn't care about that, it was God's message that morning and I received it regardless of how it was delivered. The Worship team encourages you to worship the Lord, not their music. And they shared a new song they wrote. They work hard and serve hard. They are FIRE. From beginning to end, I worshipped (with arms up the whole time), I laughed, I cried, and laughed again, during the sermon. Lastly, when leaving the church, I saw the same elderly man (who greeted me before service) now walking side by side with a blind man, to ensure he got to his car in the parking lot. I encourage anyone to attend this church, you will feel the presence of the Lord. You won't just experience it, you'll see it with your own eyes, just as I did.
