This is a beautiful facility with kind volunteers and employees. I came here today for a memorial service for a friend's mother. She spent her last time on earth here in hospice care. My sister spent her final days at Faith Presbyterian. We could not have asked for a more capable and compassionate care team. The facility is beautiful, clean and peaceful. Morphine in a pretty setting... Don't complain, you WILL get kicked out, even if you LO is in love with the fancy donor facility off Merritt Dr. The Home Hospice side, aka "the field" is ran kinda slipshod. Took 4 days for the Bi-pap to be delivered, then 6 days for RT to come out and check it. 3-5 business days for supplies to be delivered, cept what they have in the car or mayyybe in some office. But that morphine will show up SO fast. This all woulda been fine. Things can take a bit of time to get started...but I sorta grumbled on the phone, and went to visit my LO at the facility and "they" were waiting outside her room like scorpions. They sought out my feedback and then dropped my mother!! My mother loved the facility. She wanted to stay. And she's the one dying. Not Me. So don't dare tell him your true opinion of what you see going wrong in their organization because they will kick you out. At least that's my direct witness experience. I suppose if your loved ones very close to death eminently from cancer or some thing, you'll have a nice quiet place to chill while they do so. read more

Run the other way before you trust the last days of your loved one's life with this horrific excuse of a hospice company. Faith Presbyterian was absolutely the most awful experience at a horrible time. First they declared my MIL not actively dying with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and an active GI bleed requiring round the clock care, changing, etc. The hospice equipment was delivered to her home and then Peace (not sure that's her real name) decided it would be appropriate to walk in the back door of my MIL's home-not the front- and didn't introduce herself until we asked who she was and why she was there. Her first words were "where is she". It is hospice responsibility to arrange transport from the hospital to home but instead Peace decided that it was appropriate to yell at us and be angry that transport had not happened yet to get her home. When we asked how often someone would be visiting to help her/us she said "not my job". What?!?! She then just left, we had zero idea what was going on. Back at the hospital, after another transfusion, it was determined she could not come home but also was, in Faith Presbyterian's opinion, still not imminently dying so she could go to a rehab with an active GI bleed. This hospice company saw her once at the facility in a week, didn't provide a palliative care kit, didn't answer phone calls from nurses trying to come up with a solution for the non stop bleeding from both ends,nonstop vomiting, etc. They saw her once during an entire week of misery. We switched hospices Tuesday and they were there immediately and got her comfortable, stopped the vomiting, got a palliative care kit started, and put her on daily visits. She died yesterday. 10 days from when Peace decided she was fine and no one from Faith Presbyterian could be bothered to help her in her last days. Isn't that your whole job?!?! Thank God for putting the other hospice in our path and letting her last 72 hours not be miserable but the 7 days before that were a nightmare! The one star is only bc zero isn't an option read more

Faith Presbyterian T Boone Pickens took excellent care of my Father in Law in the final stage of his life. He had stage 4 bone cancer and received medication to keep him comfortable and the medical team kept us up to date every step of the way. They had a music therapist that played guitar and sang his favorite gospel music. They coordinated transport with the funeral home and contacted the coroners office for us. The facility is absolutely beautiful and the medical team is so compassionate. I don't know how anyone could rate this facility less than 5 stars. read more

Inside the medical system there's not much consideration given for the family but here they are equally concerned about those about to be left behind. The nursing staff is exemplary. I cannot say how incredible and compassionate they are. Melissa rocks! This hospice made a very difficult time much more bearable. The surrounding are serene and comfortable. The rooms have a residential feel with carpet and furnishings. They all have a private covered outdoor area overlooking a lake. Sadly, we have had a horrific and tragic experience with T. Boone Pickens / Faith Presbyterian Hospice. At this point, I would be fearful of the level of care (neglect?) they are giving to their hospice patients who do not have a voice to advocate for themselves in their final weeks or days. This negative review is long and detailed because I don't want anyone to have to go through the experience they put us and my mother through. I hope it is helpful to other families going through such excruciating end-of-life decisions for their loved ones. We were on the waitlist for the "next available room", just awaiting transport, for my dying mother who is in terrible pain after fracturing both hips and a femur (simultaneously). After being told at her final assessment on January 19 that transport would "very likely be tomorrow", there was an abrupt change. They canceled the required Covid test they had scheduled for immediately before transport, and suddenly nothing was available. Every day for five days. Strange, because a friend had his mother admitted that second day. First red flag of their deception. Ultimately, after five days and no response other than terse texts each day saying "still no room, should be tomorrow", we learned from their team that they LOST their license to be able to provide inpatient hospice care! This was Tuesday, January 24, 2023. (What??) After that call, they ghosted us. We could not get a return call, text or email from anyone, trying daily. Meanwhile, my mother is still in terrible pain at an assisted living that provides no help. And because of her terrible pain, her Alzheimer's suddenly declined tremendously, immediately after the injuries. She is a shadow of herself and suddenly does not recognize me or the rest of her family. Up till the day of the injuries, she lit up when I walked in the room, greeted me enthusiastically, and spoke to me and her (private) caregivers. Now she sits in pain with her eyes closed, and when she does open them, there is zero recognition there. She isn't eating, is barely drinking, and is not getting the pain control medication she needs--in fact, which we were told by their nurses is "urgent." It's tragic. Out of desperation, we finally contacted corporate management and, after their initial shock and promises to "get to the bottom of it right away", we learned the truth. In a one-sentence text (!) the next day, they stated that they "can no longer meet my mother's needs." (What?!??) She had been assessed, accepted, and we were merely waiting for an available room, "any hour now", since January 19. We were told they would call me when transport (ambulance) was ready. Literally overnight, they suddenly "can't meet her needs?" The definition of Hospice is to care for a dying patient. What "needs" can they suddenly not meet? After that, once again, we have been completely ghosted. We have learned that several patients have been admitted to inpatient in the subsequent week, and we cannot get a return phone call or even a simple explanation. After my initial reaction of fear and denial when her doctor recommended Hospice (and wrote and order for it), and then the T. Boone Pickens / Faith nurses and sales team convinced us by explaining how badly Mom needed to be there "to get the medication and care she needs", I am heartbroken and helpless thinking of her condition now and her constant, untreated pain that she will suffer for her remaining days. The facility is physically beautiful. LOTS of money has been spent on a pretty building, nice fixtures, an attractive entrance, nice artwork--nothing the patients care about or need. It is just a lot of smoke and mirrors for prospective families during sales appointments. But it is painfully obvious that is where their priority is. Not the patients. Not the families. This sad fact is echoed repeatedly in other reviews. My assumption, since we can't even get the decency of an explanation, is that they have shifted to accepting only the private pay "Residential" patients (at $12,500/month) while leaving patients desperately awaiting hospice hanging alone in agony. We knew T. Boone Pickens. In fact, my parents bought his condo in Turtle Creek (and lived there for 12 years until assisted living). He would be rolling over in his grave if he knew what is happening at his namesake facility. Utter heartbreak! After more than two weeks of multiple assessments of my mother, assurances of transport any day, waitlists, delays and broken promises we were told that they are no longer accepting patients for inpatient hospice because they lost their pharmacy that prescribes IV drugs. PHARMACY? Singular? How do you lose your only pharmacy that allows you to be in business? No redundancy? They are still accepting residential and respite patients which are private pay, but not inpatient hospice patients which are paid for by Medicare. Is this a pharmacy issue or something else? We asked their representative case worker if they had any visibility as to when they would have the pharmacy issue resolved. She said management was not comfortable giving any timeline. After that call all we received was silence and no response to multiple attempts. We were able to find out a week later, after being connected to the CEO, that they were admitting patients for IV hospice care - Just not us. I feel lied to, manipulated and ultimately abandoned. We have had to scramble to find another provider. The process of managing your mother's demise is emotionally taxing enough. To add the additional stress and frustration through an exceptionally disorganized process is inexcusable. My 89 yr old dad was was accepted into Faith Hospice last June when he entered a managed care facility. I would give this organization a 10 star review if it was available. From June 1st until his end of life, the Faith team was always ready and willing to take the steps needed to keep my dad comfortable. The nurses, chaplains and social workers are masters of their craft as people's lives are ending. He was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer which is a very painful disease. Toward the end of his life he was accepted at the T Boone Pickens Hospice facility. Jenny and Koi were professional nurses that took great care to keep him comfortable and pain free. I am so grateful and impressed with this hospice. The staff is incredibly compassionate, nice, caring and extremely professional which made our experience easier to deal with during a very difficult time. Their compassion and level of care was admirable. They were patient and helpful with our situation as we had to deal with a difficult health insurance that was being vague and challenging. Everyone from the social worker, receptionist, nurses, specialists, chef, cleaning crew, chaplain and priest treated us with the utmost respect. My cousin was blessed to have this level of care and I will be forever grateful for the kindness received throughout. This organization was phenomenal during my grandfathers last weeks, days and hours of his life. I chose this place due to the name "Faith" why because faith is believing in Jesus without seeing him right, so it had to be right to see Jesus though the nursing staff that cared for him. I love how our nurse, his nurse Kathy helped him and us so much. She was very cordial and loving to him and us. With all of her years of experience in nursing it truly helped in his care and she taught me a lot with being his Personal Care Attendant. I believe she was an angel sent to us for the comfort he needed and we needed. I also loved the way the tech bridgett helped so much. How she was very thoughtful and careful in handling his care. From bathing, to changing his gown to his sheets. Lastly his shave. She was very friendly and had the heart of Christ in her as well. I'm very thankful to have picked this organization out because it was a blessing to have them. I truly would recommend this place if you are looking at hospice care or rehab or whatever your needs may be. Trust me you'll see the greatness of Christ in these people. Faith was the best possible scenario for my dad's last weeks of life especially during Covid where he had been between rehab and the hospital after having a sudden downturn in health after 89 years of independent living. Early on we did have some communication issues regarding medications. I realized , after they allowed us to cut way back, that they were right about him needing more than I realized and understood. After a compassionate meeting with his entire team, we did compromise on minimal doses to maintain 100% comfort while allowing for lower sedation. ***Note to others with patients who have had strokes or other neurological events: Some medications are used to keep those who are in their late stages from having seizures which are common as the body shuts down. I did not know this! Ask for the blue book as it is helpful in understanding what is going on. They explained that patients will generally relax over time and choose when to go. I learned to tell my dad when I was leaving, which I rarely did, and when I would return. I would always tell him that he wasn't alone and that the nurses were right there and truly cared for him. Each time I struggled to leave, one of the kind nurses Meg would remind me that if he wanted me to be there, he would wait. One thing I know for sure is that 99% of the nurses truly care about the patients. They want to know who they are and what they did in their lives. Few ever left the room without asking if I needed anything. I didn't expect this at all but it always made me feel not so alone. The music therapy, pet visits and access to push the bed onto the balcony to overlook the beautiful duck pond were amazing bonuses. I can't say enough about how comfortable this place is. In the end, my dad decided to wait for me to finally leave to spend some time with my boys to decide he was ready. My husband was there and had a feeling despite him being stable and recently checked on. He called the nurse to check one more time before he went to sleep. When she walked in, she said it would be minutes at most. Knowing my dad didn't want to die alone, she summoned the assistant as well. My dad died surrounded by people who cared for him, and I can truly find peace with that because it was in his time and on his terms. Afterward, they wanted to know if I wanted to come see him before they called the funeral home where they had helped me make arrangements. I decided to go back. They had him looking comfortable when I arrived. They talked to me and answered questions. Then they gave me time to say goodbye and helped us gather his things and take them to the car. About a week later, they called to check on me. Even after its over, there are services for the family to access. I wouldn't change a thing about my decision to come here with my dad. They have perfected the art of hospice and gave me peace of mind at a time where it's hard to come by. A million thank yous to them for the amazing care. read more

Horrible experience with this group. Our grandmother had a massive stroke and we were told hospice home care is necessary. We chose Faith Home Care due to their connection with T Boone Pickens Center. They dropped off our bedridden grandmother on a Thursday with little direction on care. We were told the nurse was out until Monday but given basic instructions for care by an admit/intake nurse. The nurse assigned to us didn't come out until Monday at almost 5pm and she was clueless on care, meds, etc and she was in a hurry because her dog was in the car. We had concerns with the catheter and how to rotate her to avoid bed sores. She didn't even look at the cath and just offered advice on cleaning it and told us the aid would show us how to rotate her and change her...this after almost 4 days with no help. After several more days we had issues with the cath and she told us it must be kidney failure!! No, just a leaking cath and possible infection. She sent meds to wrong pharmacy then gave us a phone number to locate it that didn't work! After several negative experiences and several calls with the admin we were told we would have a new nurse. That was a Wednesday , no one came Thursday, by late Friday we called the admin to see what was going on, she was off and had not put the request in. However, a great PRN after hour nurse came and helped over the weekend, she was the diamond in this rough. Sadly she is only PRN-after hours. Monday the "new nurse" we requested that had been promised since the Wednesday before, finally calls at 4:40pm to tell us she won't be able to come until Tuesday. We never heard from anyone from FAITH on Tuesday! Wednesday we received a call from the new nurse who wanted to come out "sometime"today. No thank you! Fortunately we called another hospice group yesterday,Tuesday (that was recommended by a friend) they came out right away, gave solid sound advice and care for our dementia / bedridden grandmother and we immediately switched to them. If you want trustworthy care for your loved one, I would not put your faith in FAITH home hospice care. I gave them one star because this site requires at least one but honestly I give them 5 negative stars for poor communication, poor care, poor staff, poor follow up and poor leadership. This is supposed to be an organization that provides care, advice and comfort for the patient and family and they have failed on so many levels. read more

Worst possible experience. I have gone through hospice with my mother-in-law in 2007, and my own mother in 2021. Both experiences were very satisfactory. My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer in March of 2022. We tried every available treatment option and requested hospice care as of 9/20/2022 only to be told that we could not choose hospice care but that it had to be ordered by a physician. I chased every physician he had encountered to try to get that order. A full day burned. Intake was kind and efficient, hospital equipment was in place in less than 24 hours. That was very helpful. Intake nurse was kind and efficient, she stated than supplies were ordered and would be delivered; than a nurse's aid would come to bathe him on Tuesdays and Thursdays; and that a hospice "comfort kit" would be delivered. No one showed for bathing, the "comfort kit" arrived short of a medication listed in the packet, zero supplies (we needed absorbent bed pads, adult diapers, wound dressings, saline flush syringes, alcohol pads, IV sponges, medical tape, etc.) were received. Zero supplies, I had to go out and buy supplies at retail when I needed to be with my dying husband. He died on 9/25. To add insult to this whole shit show - the "Dr." was on vacation and did not sign off on the required paperwork until the last possible moment, leaving my husband's body in a slab, in the morgue for nearly 10 days. read more

Definitely would NOT recommend this Hospice agency- So many inconsistencies in care- so much turn over with staff and terrible communication between them - Each time someone new would show up they'd have no clue about My Granny's condition- about her Urostomy bag, etc so we were having to re-inform over & over- The aids would often not show up on scheduled days with no calls, no warnings- Lately it's one thing after another- The aide that came on Friday to bathe her & change sheets left her peed sheets on the bed, along with a crumbled up towel (peed also) under that dirty sheet, and made the bed up OVER all that soiled mess! As if we weren't going2 figure it out at night when we pulled back the blanket- Totally unacceptable service- especially for a Hospice provider - The office doesn't follow through with what they say- We had an issue with the pain meds not being correctly listed in her Medication book at the home (Hospice RN in charge of that) so they wouldn't give pain meds when desperately needed, since the RN hadn't written it down correctly- I calm the office- explain the urgency of situation - requested she fax over something quickly giving update on correct pain meds dosage etc- She says "yes I'll do that right now"- So at least the Nursing home could dispense the meds while an RN was dispatched to come correct the book- An hour later still no fax- Granny in so much pain she can't even speak- They are terrible about re-ordering meds- Recently we went 3 days in a row with zero meds- no night meds to sleep- no anxiety meds for dementia and no pain meds- for 3 DAYS in a row! On Sept. 5th 2023 I contacted Faith to find out about their services. I talked with Lori, one of the reps and filled out the paperwork. She indicated that it would be best to take my wife Dian into the location via ambulance which would be paid for by Faith Hospice. My wife fell while trying to go to the restroom the second night and had to pull out her Foley because there was no answer to her calls. She passed away within 48 hours. Later I received a bill for the ambulance services for $1,567.22 and after conversations with Mary in Accounting on 11/14 she said she would look into it. On 12/13 Mary said the account would be paid. I called again on 12/19 and Mary once again said the bill would be handled since Lori did indeed say that they would pay for it. It was never paid. Today, 5/14 Mary told me that she never said that and made up a completely bogus story of how she told me on the 19th of December that I would have to pay it. She is an outright liar! She is probably trying to cover her tracks with management for what she and Lori both promised. I will tell you now, they will never get a good rating from me because I despise a Liar and I told her to her face she is a liar. Where ever lies are told there is other discrepancies I can guarantee you. Now I am considering legal action but it won't be for just the ambulance fees. How can a woman who is vibrant and very much alive die within forty eight hours. I sent her in with the understanding we wanted to get her medications regulated. So much for that. Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives in my experience with Faith. There were slight inconveniences and hiccups during my mom's care, but within the last two months of her life, when my mom and my family needed them most, they failed us. On call nurses lying about meds and supplies being ordered, aides speaking unkindly to my mom during bathing. Hello!? Do you not see the camera recording you?! I felt like a bother to the caseworker who always had to "fit me in" between caring for his other patients. He actually became irrational and condescending in our conversations. He was downright rude. He had never been like this before. In fact, we had requested he stay as case manager when they gave us someone new about six months ago. No idea if he was going through something personal, but if that was the case, he should have taken a leave of absence. The ultimate disappointment was the contract nurse sent to care for my mom during the last 12 hrs of her life. My mom was actively dying and unconscious. My six siblings and I just wanted a calm, peaceful passing for her. This nurse acted like she'd never done this before. She was loud, interruptive, and intrusive. She never prepared us for what was happening at each stage. She only took vitals and started oxygen at the prompting of my sister who is an RN. Minutes before my mom died this nurse was eating and rattling a bag of Cheeto's!! We never got privacy to say goodbye. The minute my mom stopped breathing, she made a phone call to Faith right in the room...talking loudly, asking us what our mom's middle name was, and the name of the facility. It was SO disappointing! She ruined our last moments. And to top it off, she yelled at us when we questioned how long it would take for the nurse to arrive to call time of death. Said she didn't have to take this and left!!! Left us. Not to mention all the narcotics she just left sitting on the table! Unbelievable. When I texted our caseworker to let him know our mom had died and we had been waiting over 90 min for someone to come and pronounce her, he simply said sorry for the inconvenience. The guy had been with our family and caring for our mom for over 18 months and that was it. That was the last I heard from him. Find another hospice provider. read more

Excellent care for my mother. She enjoyed the aide that Assited w her showers and the nurse too. The visits and care were consistent and if we needed an on-call nurse they were sent out in a timely manner. Mother's last day was at the inpatient center. Her care was exceptional there. Definitely would NOT recommend this Hospice agency- Worst hospice EVER. Avoid this place at all cost. Your loved one is not important to them at all. Our Mother was in dire need of help yet the assigned nurse, (a Nigerian gentleman could not have been bothered. he only came and starting giving morphine. He said that was for "emergency use only". He used all the meds on one visit and said that he would call them in for delivery. On call nurses lying about meds and supplies being ordered also after waiting all day we had to literally beg for them to call an order into a 24 hr. pharmacy. We had never even been told about the stages of death. The meds are sooooo low in dosage it's insane but thankfully our mother wasn't in crushing pain. On Saturday night another family member under duress called the Case Manager and told her to get to the house to access the situation. Our Nurse got there on Sunday morning and said our Mother was in "critical condition" and "death was eminent" and left, (we were told by this point critical care would kicks in and a nurse would be taking care of your loved one so you can spend your last precious moments talking not freaking out/panicking/etc) I was told that all the Nurses had big caseloads and there were no Nurses available to sit with our Mother and that if we wanted a nurse we would have to hire a private nurse ourselves. Our Mother lasted all day Sunday (Mother's Day) and died on Monday afternoon, 4 hours or so after the nurse left. Our Nurse came to make the death notification so that we could call the Funeral home, left without telling us anything, no expressions of sympathy , nothing..This place does not support families....they certainly have no compassion or empathy. They are AWFUL. Please beware! read more

The first person was there to sign us up for as much equipment as possible. My husband wasn't walking so of course they brought a walker. The delivery guy told me they are on commission. The next day the nurse came for one hour and said they only come once a week. So I called for them to come on Monday after three days of not knowing how to take care of my dying husband. We weren't sure about the food or pain meds or his bed sore. It was so hard but oh no. they weren't going to stay and help and explain. The nurse that came Monday said she'd be back Thursday and left. He died that night and we just didn't know what we should do. Don't hire this company. They are no good. They seem like they care but they don't stick around enough to help or instruct. read more

Based upon two excellent experiences shared by thankful friends, we expected we had found the perfect hospice organization. Absolutely NOT. it was HORRID. We did not know that there is a HUGE difference between the base nature of home care into which this organization deposited my Dad (and under which he died) versus what we heard was a compassionate, caring facility (higher care level for selected patients). Everything purported to be dad's "home care" was designed for the convenience of the providers and compassionate care for my dad did not seem to be on anyone's list. The equipment provided was so decrepit that I did not allow some of it in my home and purchased what was needed myself. I would not allow a hospital bed into the house and my Dad paid for that because his bed forced the providers to bend. In response, his treatment became rough. Absolutely no modification of process was available based upon Dad's specific condition and he suffered mightily because of this. Example: He was a mouth breather, and got no oxygen from the nose ferrules. When I asked if we could possibly get a facemask to deliver the oxygen, the answer (nurse) was "NO we do not provide those", Me: Well how can he get his oxygen? Nurse: He won't. Dad's condition forced him to go to the bathroom 15 to 16 times per day and allowed for at most 4 hours of sleep per night. When I asked if something could possibly be done to help mitigate the stress of trying to use the bathroom that much, the answer was (nurse) "No didn't his doctor tell him what to expect? " During her twice a week visits, the home health aide tried to make him walk back and forth to the bathroom for these trips (including the day before he died) even to he had not been able to walk for three weeks ( I wheeled him back and forth on the walker). The provider's implication seemed to be that I was indulging him. And to him: Make it to the bathroom on your own or use your Depends. That was when I called the Main Office to tell them I thought they were sadistic. Answer: They would consider increasing his level of care. No matter! My dad died soon after in my home, the last thing either of us wanted, without oxygen, BEGGING me to take him to the hospital, seeming immune to the miniature dose of morphine this organization provided and which, they did not care to hear, had never had ANY effect in previous emergency room visits. I live with huge guilt that I allowed my Dad to trust this group and to suffer in it and that his days in this hospice care were among the worst of his life. I will forever wish I had taken him to the emergency room when he begged me to do so. I pray that you are forewarned and do not do the same to your own family member. read more

Two stars for the beautiful view and spacious room. But it's smoke and mirrors. They make you sign in with clean styluses on ipads to keep Covid contamination down, but at the nurses station, they don't always keep their masks on. Buy a blanket because they only provide sheets it seems. We bought a comforter while the night nurses cleaned the two blankets we brought, but when I asked them to put them on my dad's bed when they were out of the dryer, they must have forgot because I found the blankets in a cabinet when I arrived the next day. So my dad was cold all night. They didn't wake my dad for breakfast so his food was cold, and he said he was hungry. But the worst was the nurse who gave too high of a dose of pain meds for his legs (he was there for renal failure) that I believe killed him. My dad was lucid before he passed out, and while he was likely going to die in 24-72 hours, I was robbed of one last day to talk to him. And that same nurse was the one who told me my father had passed when I stepped away. I didn't want to hear how my dad had died, so I asked him to leave and he actually said in a huff, "Don't blame the messenger." Just a jerk. The massage therapist was great, but the nurses phone it in. In hindsight, I wish we went to a place with more attentive staff than just a pretty view. read more

We brought our grandpa here. It was our first time experiencing hospice but the two nurses were helping him were amazing. Very personable. Even the food is way better than the hospital's. It actually feels more like a hotel. My grandpa left in peace. read more

Worst hospice EVER. Avoid this place at all costs. Your loved one is not important to them at all. Our loved one was in dire need of help yet the assigned nurse, Felicia, could not have been bothered. she said not to be giving morphine as I was. She said that was for "emergency use only". WHAT?? We had never even been told about the stages of death. It was an ER to keep our loved one comfy. The meds are sooooo low in dosage it's insane but thankfully our loved one wasn't in crushing pain. The next day another family member under duress called Felicia and told her to get to the house to access the situation. Felicia got there and said our loved one was in "critical condition" and LEFT (we were told by this point critical care kicks on and a nurse is taking care of your loved one so you can spend your last precious moments talking not freaking out/panicking/etc) Our loved one died 3 hours or so later After the nurse just LEFT. This place does not support families....they certainly don't have compassion or empathy. They are AWFUL. Please beware!! read more

Beautiful facility, friendly staff, comfortable amenities. Feels more like a modern hotel than a medical facility.

My mother was brought here when it was determined there was nothing more the doctors could do for her. I cannot speak highly enough of the love, compassion and care she received. The staff and doctor did an excellent job of managing her pain so that she could die with the dignity and respect she deserved. They facility is not only beautiful but comfortable as well. There was space for our family to visit and grieve. The Pickens Center was amazing. read more

My husband, David Schwab, recently passed away after several months of illness. Faith Presbyterian Hospice provided us 24 hour nursing care for the last several days of his life. As my husband and I have no family in the area, I would have had to be totally alone during the worst experience of my life. The team of nurses were some of the kindest and most compassionate people I have met. They insured my husband's last days were safe, comfortable, and dignified. It is with undying gratitude that I thank this organization from the bottom of my heart and I know my husband feels the same way. read more
