Since the closure of Hollywood Bowl at Riverside this is the number one place to go and knock down a few skittles. There are about 25 lanes so its always easy to get a lane even at busier times. Inside there is a large bar, function room and a fast food restuaraunt which is very popular for kiddies parties. Family prices for bowling are pretty good with a family of four bowling for just 14 pounds. There is also loads of arcade type games, which work on a win ticket basis so when you have a bundle of about 200 tickets the kids can exchange for a stick if chewing gum! All in all a good family day out, which will not be putting too much of a hole in your pocket!

You can get bowl and eat deals but the food i have had using this is not exactly a meal. You get a basket of chips along with either the likes of a burger or sausages etc etc. It's a handy snack but you will find you need to eat again when you get home!
