My brother recommended getting quite a few of the sharing meze plates and then a main to share between two people, so we did exactly that. We ordered mostly hot plates - my faves were the chicken livers and the vine leaves. The vine leaves were some of the best I've ever eaten! The aubergine dip and hummus with lamb chunks were incredible, and so were the little lamb sausages!! Wait, I think I've listed all of the little plates that we ordered. Okay, so everything was pretty much my favourite! We had ordered a mixed grill for each couple to share and again, the food was delicious. I'm so full right now. The service was great, the staff were really attentive and friendly. Another awesome little touch was a sweet succulent coconut cake that came WITH the bill. Free cake?! This is my kinda place!

The service is always polite and friendly. I love to sit at the bar and watch the chefs whilst they cook. Also every time I've been here it's always really busy! Apart from being a bit cramped, I absolutely love this Lebanese restaurant as its tasty and great value for money!

The first night we went, it was after 10PM and they were all out of the doner kebab (I took this as a good sign). My husband ended up with the lamb kebab wrap, and I got the lamb beyti kebab wrap (minced lamb with garlic and parsley). We also got a side of falafel and took it back to our flat. Is it crazy to say this was one of our best meals in London? The kebab wraps were delicious, a spicy chile sauce providing a good heat to the meal. The falafel was out of this world good - best I've ever had. We went twice more: my husband loved the doner, though I personally found it too salty. I also had the yogurtlu beyti, which was lamb drenched in a yogurt sauce. It was really good, though perhaps a little too heavy on the yogurt. We never ate in - it seems like the best deal is to just get takeout. Kebabs are only about £5-7, and you get plenty for your money. We watched them cook the kebabs on the grill, and the smell was heavenly. They even throw the wraps and flatbread on top of the meat to warm and grill them a bit. There's a little bit of a language barrier making it just a little difficult to order, but it's absolutely worth it. Best Mangal has two other locations nearby, one just a block or so up the street, and another at the bottom of North End Road near the Fulham Broadway Underground. A great find, and a culinary highlight of our trip.

Why I decided on a falafel & hummous wrap is beyond me! I do love me some good falafel and am a FIEND for hummous. Whilst the service and prices were lovely, I can't help but be a leeeeettle disappointed with my wrap. The falafel was way too dry / cooked for too long. And the salad seemed a little unfresh. And I'm not sure what kind of wrap I actually had? It seemed pita-ish, but was definitely not a pita.

In my months there, I once had the wrong sauce added to my wrap, however, which was a shame. Twice I was forgotten - one of those times because I was around the corner in the alley, at a table, instead of my usual place (out of sight, out of mind? I don't usually hide around there). Most of the time, however, it's good. Go a few times, and they will learn your order, too. Always nice to feel special. I highly recommend the, and you have to say it fast as one big word, chickenbaconcheesesaladmayowrap. And if you REALLY want to clog your body up, they're usually quite happy to make it extra cheese and mayo, and remove that damned tomato. Student deals are available, which, typical of kingston, usually mean a free drink. My only gripe with them is that, whilst it tastes great, the food doesn't always feel fresh. For example, if you go for a cooked meat, they have some pre-cooked meat that they then just throw straight into the wrap/panini/whatever, to reheat.
