It's absolutely fantastic for meat of all kinds, whether you're buying prepared (homemade burgers, stuffed pork steaks, chicken), marinaded (they do a few different marinaded meats for either barbeque or stir fry) or just plain meat in all its glory, from hefty T Bones through to fillets of beef or legs of lamb. It's all local (from their farm), delicious, and delivered to you with a plethora of advice, commentary and gags from both the staff and the always-entertaining queue of people (if you want a slice of real Dublin life, stand in the queue on a Saturday morning and listen to the banter in there). I came in a few weeks ago looking for chicken thighs and he directed me to another butcher across the street. One of his chickens fed a group of 6 last spring. And the single chicken breast he sold me today was very nice and tender. Oddly enough, I've never tried his non-chicken meats, but that's just chance. All in all, I have no complaints.
