Traveled from Georgia and did this hike with a local hiking group. Went to experience the waterfalls. Very clean and safe trail. Definitely strenuous IMO. Use good hiking shoes with grip due to the rocky trail and I'd recommend hiking sticks or poles.

What a beautiful national park. So much to do. We made a day trip but many options for an overnight stay. We did the suspension bridge trail. Beautiful view of the falls and the swimming hole but the bridge is not for the faint of heart. You think it's ok until you are in the middle and it's starts rocking. It's safe but definitely affects your equilibrium. The views are worth it!

Nice little hike down to the waterfall, took both dogs with us. The terrain gets more difficult the lower you go, or the closer you want to get to the bottom of the waterfall. There are some parts of the hike that are strenuous so you just have to test it out and see how far you're willing to go. We went to the bottom but not all the way to the bottom of the waterfall as that's a steep climb down. It was a decent hike, weather was lovely. Definitely wouldn't do this hike if it were raining as the rocks and dirt can get slippery. Would definitely recommend seeing this lovely view even if it's just viewing from the top of the waterfall.

Campground B, site B63. Hiked the woodland trail, saw the beautiful falls, swam in the cascades falls, so nice! When we were there in August '25, though, the entire park had no water, so all the restrooms were closed! It was also very hot and we were tent camping.

Sunday, June 30th went to Fall Creek Falls State Park in Spencer, TN with hubby Tony Vanoy , Kayla Beth Fields , Joshua Hunt & Deacon Hunt. The park was lovely with full sunshine and medium water flow...I wish the flow of the fall was heavier for them but it was still extremely beautiful!!! The park is very lovely and free to enjoy!!!

This Park is a hidden gem off the beaten path. While visiting Nashville, we decided to drive a little over 2 hours to FCF. We don't regret it. Ample parking. Friendly people. Secured trails. Thanks, Tennessee.

Amazing park full of beautiful views. The waterfall was stunning, one of the highest waterfalls in the eastern United States at 265 feet. It would be easy to spend a couple days in this park. Hiking, swimming and enjoying nature. The park has 222 campsites in five different areas. All sites have tables, grills, water, and electricity and are served by six bathhouses. Cabins are also available. Hiking, biking, fishing, boating and rock climbing etc etc etc. We did plenty of touring and wrapped things up at the snack bar.

These parks are incredibly well maintained. The visitor centers are brand new, clean and beautiful.

Stayed for a weekend conference, chef Dillan knocked it out of the park. Must see waterfalls, quiet rooms, clean environment, great stay.

While we were hiking around the lake we did see one snake out on a low branch over the water getting some sun. We also saw another small one swimming in the lake near the dam - and then watched as a fish ate it - very cool.… Read more

I liked exploring the woods that led to a small waterfall . It smelled so fresh and new because of all the greenery. I felt so far from civilization but wasn't. It was only about $40 a day with water and power hook up. You can get a sewer hookup for $10 more but the dump station is free down the path not too far from the campsites. I am looking forward to returning here. I love the peacefulness and tranquility of the place. I just wish I could of jumped in the lake for a swim but I don't think that is allowed. The stream in the woods was very cool and refreshing though. I love this place!
