I had paid Joe, the owner of Falling Timbers $1500 to have both a pile of dead trees AND 2 fallen trees to be removed/transferred to my backyard. There's a document that I signed which agrees to that. After transferring the 2 trees from my side yard to my back yard, Joe claimed that there was a ditch about 5-6 ft deep with a bunch of dead trees and debris near the pile of dead trees in my front yard. He proceeded to say that he needed to charge me another $1500 if I ALSO wanted to get all the trees out of that ditch and have everything burned at the same time. I agreed to this without further research because I just wanted all of these dead trees off my yard. He said he would be back to take care of the trees the following week but he never showed, giving excuses about how we needed a burn permit which I discovered we didn't need one since we lived outside of city limits. I finally managed to get him on the phone while he was "going out of town" and requested for half of the $1500 to be credited towards burning my trees which he has declined. Needless to say, he has also conveniently failed to transfer the rest of the dead tree pile from my front yard to my back yard. As you can see in this picture, majority of the dead pile of trees are still on the ground in my front yard. Thankfully, I've found another tree guy who can burn all these trees for $800-$900, including the dead trees in the ditch. Beware of unethical and shady business tactics of Falling Timbers!! Don't make the same mistake I did in hiring these people. I paid them as they were finishing the cleanup in my yard. As soon as they got the money in hand, they took off and left the rest of the logs laying. They refuse to return phone calls and cannot be contacted. On December 19, 2018 the great guys with Falling Timbers Tree Service did a fantastic job removing two very tall willow trees on our property! They were pleasant, efficient, careful, and quick! We enjoyed watching the three of them work amiably together, Joe, Cain and Cody!! They also topped out and trimmed a Bradbury Pear tree near the house. It was exciting and I, 90 years old, enjoyed snapping pictures from every angle. In the process, I stepped backward -- falling and breaking my left shoulder! I couldn't get up or allow anyone to touch my arm. The ambulance was called. Two of these tree cutters who had been lifting huge logs--lifted me gently into a chair. I can't praise them enough for their good work and kindness to a little old lady!!!! read more

There is never any reason for poor customer service. I had an appointment with Falling Timbers. I waited an hour and nobody showed up. I called and they said oh I was just getting ready to call you - we had a flat. Um, o.k. He said he could come the next day so we scheduled another appointment. The next day came and no one showed up and again no one bothered to call. If you can't make an appointment, give the person a call. It's common courtesy. Apparently, they have too much business and can't be bothered with more. No worries, I'll find someone else. read more

We had 5 large Bradford Pears bobbed and could not be more pleased. Just like other reviews - They came, quoted, scheduled, called, arrived, cut, cleaned, and made us happy. I could go on and on, but no need. We have had awful experiences, with many providers, on all types of work. You will not be disappointed with these folks. We were home, watching this friendly, hard-working team in action. I have no doubt they would do the same job, whether we were there or not - PROFESSIONAL. Most important, clean up was like it never happened. Based upon the excellent work on my property, my neighbors were chatting up the crew for dates to line up quotes.
